I want to take a minute to reflect back on the passing of my beautiful client, Judy Redden.

Judy was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a wonderful client and over the years became a good friend of mine. We realized that we had already connected years earlier when I was working on Main Street and she was at the Clement Railroad Museum. Her favorite facial was the red light collagen treatment. Judy gave me more referrals in a few years than I had probably gotten the whole time I’ve been in business. 

Most people in Dickson knew Judy but if you didn’t, she was one of the most selfless, giving, caring, people that I have ever met . Rest easy Ms. Judy, I will miss you dearly ❤️🙏

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted but I just found out one of my long time clients, Jackie Hayes, passed away yesterday, and I wanted to take a minute to tell you  how much of a great lady she was. 

Mrs. Jackie was all things beauty. At 83 years old she was still an advocate of her beauty and skin care regimen. She never missed a facial appointment, was always asking me what was the newest treatment in skin care, and never went without her skincare products. This picture was the last facial I ever done for her. Her skin still looked great and it showed because she took such good care of herself.

Not only was Miss Jackie beautiful on the outside, but she was equally or more beautiful on the inside. I was blessed to have known her and had her for a client for so many years. Rest peacefully Mrs. Jackie, you’ll be greatly missed. Many prayers for her family, friends, and loved ones. 🙏❤️🙏

As we’re counting down our final days at our current physical location, many of you have messaged about services among many other inquiries. We’ve received several inquiries about Jade and her Brow Services.

Please note that our Licensed PMU Artist, JADE MALONE, is no longer at the shop and is not going with the new business that is opening at this same location. Jade’s last day with us was 1/31/25.

We wish her the best on her future endeavors 💞

***ANNOUNCEMENT***

After 10 years in business, Pretty Southern Aesthetics has decided to close its doors at this location. This hasn't been an easy decision to make since my business has become increasingly successful over the last 10 years. Our last day at this location will be 2-28-25.

As many of you already know, I've been working outside the shop for the last year, and it's became more difficult to manage a physical shop not being there on a day-to-day basis.

I still have my business, Pretty Southern Aesthetics, just not at this physical location. I've copyrighted my name, plus kept all my city, county & state licensure. I'm always keeping with the latest and greatest in Skin Care and will still be posting new products and treatments from time to time. I will continue selling my products so reach out if you need something.

Some of the girls, in the shop, have decided to remain at this location, after I close and leave.

Ashley, Vanessa and Jessica have decided to stay at this location and open a new business. This new business is totally unaffiliated to me or Pretty Southern Aesthetics. For clarification, no one "Took Over" or "Bought" my shop or business. They are simply opening a brand-new cosmetology shop. For now, they will be offering their same services, Hair, Massage and Nails. They are all great in what they do so please visit them at their new business, same location.

If you have an Unexpired Gift Certificate with me or Pretty Southern Aesthetics, please message me or give me a call at 615-772-1723. I think that I only have 1 or 2 left that are unexpired and I will definitely honor them.

I appreciate all of my clients that have stayed with me through the years, especially this past year working with my limited schedule. I do and will miss seeing my clients in person terribly since many of you have become friends and family.

Our Downtown Business Community has lost a wonderful lady. The owner of Hodges Jewelers, Poochie, has completed her life’s journey.

I have lots of fond memories at Hodges. Poochie pierced my ears when I was 5 years old. She was always at the store, every day of the week, greeting you with a smile. You could always find the perfect wedding gift, complete with monogram, gift wrapping and the signature Gold Hodges Sticker put on top.

Poochie has been a staple on Main Street for as long as I can remember and she will be greatly missed by all. She was always dressed to the nines, complete with matching jewelry, purse and shoes. I know she’s bringing a little fashion with her to heaven!

I’m blessed to have called her a friend and business neighbor. Rest in Peace Sweet Lady 🌸💖🌺🙏🏻
