I’m really not trying to be that person, but ..
PLEASE please please, leave the parking spaces directly infront of my business open/available to my clients. It’s the only 3 I’ve got.
I understand it’s a madhouse up here with multiple businesses trying to be successful and I am waiting on signs to be made to make it easier to navigate on my end. But again, PLEASE leave this space for the patrons of my business, directly beside it. Thank you.

Beginning tomorrow |Friday June 26| through the weekend of July 4th, I will be pressing pause on doctoring roots and taking time off with my family by the water.
Gone again??!! YEP! Trying to soak up every minute of Summer we can t.o.g.e.t.h.e.r.

••A couple of weeks ago, a client said this to me (lightheartedly) and we both laughed.
But because of that, I’m here to say with all sincerity: to every one of you that continue to “pick me”, support me, consider me; THANK YOU.
In a world where everything continues to demand more of us and cost more for us, “hair” is not always top priority. Babies gotta have new shoes (or bats), 2 to 3 bags of groceries cost you $100, gas continues to rise, and your bills never come late. Still, you consider me. You continue choosing to support me and my family, when you could sit in any other chair, or even attempt to do it yourself (please don’t 🙃) to try saving a few bucks. I pray I never take your trusting me for granted, because I am truly thankful and I couldn’t continue opening my door without your loyalty!

📌 📌 Okay, people 👏🏼👏🏼 the time has come:

I will be back at the salon full time next week. And I am booking appointments for the 2nd and 3rd weeks in February.
“But you’re going back next week?”
Facts!! However, I am booked completely for the next two weeks with appointments booked out by clients before my leaving in December and I am honoring those first.
So any appointments made, will be scheduled for the 2nd/3rd weeks of February.

•• ALSO note, our family booked a cruise as my kids’ Christmas gift FAR before knowing I’d be out for several weeks recovering from surgery. So I will be closed the entire last week of February (23-27) spending that time with them and I make zero apologies for that. It just is what it is and life happens. My kids won’t pay the price for that.

Alllll of that being said, it is not wasted on me the PATIENCE and kindness that so many have shown/given during my time out. I appreciate your business, your friendship, your loyalty, and I never take that lightly.
I love what I do and appreciate the time given to do what needed to be done to continue to do that for every one of you.

As of today [December 19th] I am on leave until late January, early February. 17 years of loving what I do and my ‘check engine’ light is on: Carpal Tunnel x 2.

I will be spending the week of Christmas with my family and immediately following, I will be having a long overdue operation on my hand + elbow to stop the floor pacing at 3am shaking my hands/arms like a crazy woman and styling hair with tv static in my veins. Recovery is *estimated to be 4 weeks post-op, since I depend so heavily on both with my job. So with that being said: I plan to return the last week of January 2026, but I will take it week by week as healing progresses. As much as I love yall and love what I do, I cannot risk returning too soon and compromising the procedure.

I appreciate your business, loyalty, and support more than I could ever put into it words and I’ve put this off for so long for fear of taking the time needed to step away to have it done. But I wanna love on yall for a long time and I can’t retire til lunch the day of my funeral, sooo here we are!

I will answer any questions/concerns about appointments closer to the end of January and I appreciate your patience as I navigate this. Have the Merriest Christmas!! Love yall, mean it!!
