New Sugar Scrub! 🙂 And new soaps! And bath bombs!
I got Moonflower Bubblebath restocked today, I got Arnica-Turmeric-Ginger Magnesium Cream built and restocked, Annd then I had to head out the door to get to the bus stop to pick up the chitlins. The earlier/shorter/random-er store hours because of school has been kind of frustrating… but you know what? Every single person through the doors today made my day. Thank you to my regular customers (and all of your referrals), thank you to each and every person that has given Mossy Possum a go. ❤️ It was a good day!

It’s been close to 30 years since I was last excited about my birthday. Despite that, it just keeps happening. Every. Danged. Year.
So, to commemorate this annual occurrence- Today, Friday October 2nd, it’s 20% off purchases of $48 or more of any product, plant, accessory in store. Heck, even gift cards, if that’s what you fancy. Store hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

I hear a lot of comments about my soap looking like various foods, but split pea soup is kind of pushing it…
This is an Egg White soap made with French green clay and soapberry extract. I’ve been meaning to gives Egg Soaps a go for at least a year. Finally got around to it.

It’s been a bit since the last dose of doors-open weather. It’s a beautiful fall day, and the shop’s open until 6:30! 🙂

Adjusting to the schedule requirements of kindergarten is still in the process. Most weekdays have been an early close because I have to grab kiddos. However, tomorrow, Grandma Tana is gonna snag the girls off the bus and do gymnastics duty…. So, the storefront will be open from 8:30 a.m. to ~7:00 p.m. It’s a great chance to find your way in if the school hours just haven’t been working for ya. ❤️

The picture doesn’t have a darn thing to do with my post, but it’s on my Probably Need It list.
My girls started kindergarten this week and that means store hours are looking different.
Their school week is Tuesday-Friday, and Fridays look different week to week… so, shop hours will be something like…
Sunday- 11-4
Monday- closed
Tuesday- 8:30-3:45
Wednesday- 8:30-3:45
Thursday- 8:30- 3:45
Friday- 8:30-whenever I have to leave
Saturday- 10-6

I’m happy with the Redwoods & Moss cut, the Apothecary batch moved quick and the swirl isn’t what I planned- but that’s alright.
Today I did a Hot Process batch with a marshmallow root infusion for the liquid, jojoba oil as the designated superfat, raw honey, French green clay, and a heaping helping of organic Moringa powder. I’m pretty excited about this one. 🙂
