One boy, one wish, and 20,000 roaring hearts this is what real community looks like.

In Germany, a 6-year-old boy battling terminal cancer had one simple dream: to see motorcycles. His parents, hoping to lift his spirits, posted a heartfelt request online asking if a few bikers could ride by their house to cheer him up. They never expected what would follow.

Instead of a small group, nearly 20,000 motorcyclists from across Germany and beyond showed up. Riders filled the streets in an epic display of unity, compassion, and noise creating a motorcycle parade so massive, it echoed with love. The thunder of engines, the endless wave of chrome, and the joy on that brave little boy’s face became a symbol of what humans can do when they rally for kindness.

It wasn’t just a ride it was a reminder that sometimes, the loudest gestures come from the quietest asks.

Be happy

Happiness comes from within. As we have written in our essays, letting our possessions define who we were quickly led to an empty feeling inside. We realized that happiness comes from within, not from the things we own.

Consider all advice. “Oh, if I knew then what I know now.”� I can’t tell you how many times I heard that from my parents and grandparents growing up. Now, at age 30, I completely understand what they meant. It’s amazing how much smarter our parents appear as we we get older. In many instances, if I had listened to my parents’ and grandparents’ advice, I could have avoided learning lessons the hard way. When I realized this, I told myself that even if I didn’t agree with what someone was telling me, I would at least consider their advice. Thankfully, this has forced me to look into the mirror to consider what I must change.
