I’ve know Ashley for many years now. One season of life we worked in the same spa together. Another season of life she did my hair and I gave her massages. Another season of life she was my personal trainer. In every season, always consistent, always encouraging, always a good listener. Ashley’s decision to move to Dothan Day Spa was thought out, talked about and thought about some more. It was never a rushed decision, but I knew that I’d hold on to that empty booth for a little bit longer if it knew I’d have Ashley’s personality added to the team. When she decided to join I was thrilled. She’s been here for a little while now and I love the days that we worked together. She always going to out of her way to say hey, always going to make me laugh, always going to help where it’s needed and always going to greet her clients like they are her best friend. Oh and my FAVORITE thing about her is that while her client processes, she sits in a chairs near them and they just talk & talk like they’ve known each other forever.
There’s not many like Ashley Raymond and I’m real thankful to have her here.

Up next our Hannah D.
I met her when we worked at a spa together before I was even married. She was always sweet, mild and soft spoken. Always cared the MOST about her clients experience. When my husband and I ran our food truck, she would come there to eat so we’d always catch up! She was still doing hair and loving it. Many years later when I opened Dothan Day Spa she reached out, we chatted and it was a giant leap of faith but she took it. And man oh man am I glad she did. She has grown leaps and bounds since being here. Introducing new services to her clients, her pedicures are out of this world - seriously someone got one the other day and text me saying they were transported to another dimension. While working with Hannah over these past couple of years I’ve learned these things about her.

1. She is a girls girl. Always in your corner.
2. She truly cares about every person who enters the doors of Dothan Day Spa. She wants you to have the best experience possible.

Happy Tuesday everybody!! Now it’s time for me to tell you about Hadasa! We met when we worked together at a salon in town. One of the first times we chatted, I was walking down the hallway to my massage room and I’m sure I had a face. She turned the corner and said, “umm why’d you look at me like that?” & in that moment I knew she was my girl. She was going to say what needed to be said and do what needed to be done. She toured the spa when it was dusty and signed the lease. She’s been with me through the moves, the growth and the change. Hadasa is hardworking and cares about the experience her clients get while visiting Dothan Day Spa. My girl is more times than not my first- “good morning,” while we sip our store bought lattes. And always going to be the one I see the most in the color room. Really thankful for Hadasa and for all that she brings to the spa. Oh & a fun little thing - when we were moving her into her new space, we were trying to decide where to put the shampoo bowl - I mentioned backing it off the wall in case she ever needs room for a baby bump. AND NOW SHES GROWING OUR FIRST SPA BABY!! We are all obsessed with her belly, her glow, her waddle and we can’t wait to meet and spoil our spa babe!
