How cute are these soaps? It's leftover product. So instead of wasting it I make little piggies lol

I harvested gardenias from my garden this year. There were an abundance of them. So I am putting them through the process of extracting the absolute essence so that I may make perfume.

25 pounds of my most popular soap in the mold. Oatmeal, milk, and honey. I can't keep it stocked fast enough.

The oils are all melted and the lye water is cooling to make 25 pounds of soap in a big slab mold.

I'm extracting rose absolute from rose petals I dehydrated last summer. It will be put in perfume.

If you thought you knew who she was when you met her, think again.
She might look like other women, but on the inside, she’s so very different that it would shock you.
She’ll smile, be courteous and always be warm as she engages you, but make no mistake, if you push her just a little too far,
You will see a side of her that you’ll never forget..
And you might just regret.
She’s not who she is because she wanted to be, but because life chose her path for her.
She didn’t want to struggle, fight and scrap just to survive her days..but that’s the road she’s travelled.
Broken and bruised, she wanted to give up so many times.
When you suffer long enough, eventually your soul grows weary..
And that’s where she was for so long- tired and lost.
She didn’t know how to pick herself back up and couldn’t find the light for the darkness that surrounded her.
But it wasn’t those moments of struggle that defined her- just the opposite.
No, she dug herself out of the hole and clawed her way back out of the abyss..
That’s what defined her- her incessant drive to keep going, growing and eventually, thrive.
She faced the fires of her tragedies and decided she was more.
More than capable, more than the things that brought her down and most of all, more than the fire that had threatened to tear her apart.
Her courage was forged in the flames of those defining moments..
She wasn’t brave because she wanted to be but because she had to be.
Sometimes, you don’t choose what you become..it chooses you.
She’s not a survivor or a victim, she’s a warrior with an iron will and a passionate spirit.
So, when you cross paths with this amazing woman, don’t assume you know her or what she’s been through..
Appreciate who she is and where she has been.
You may never understand her, but you don’t have to.
She is who she is, unapologetically and without regret.
She celebrates her flaws and her scars tell her story ..and it’s an amazing tale of beautiful survival and immeasurable courage.
She is more than the fire that once consumed her and her wings are meant for more than to simply fly.
Wonderful creatures like her can’t be contained, defined or tamed..
We can only hope to enjoy them, just the way they are.
For she was never truly broken..
Just a breathtaking soulful mosaic of the battles she won along the way.
She would always be what others never understood..
Strong, beautiful and brave.
