Awen Rising Healing Arts
Awen Rising exists for women who are done living in survival mode.
After years in fast-paced corporate environments, founder Jeannette Jones chose a different rhythm — one grounded in nervous system health, embodied leadership, and meaningful service.

You’re always taking care of everyone else.
The appointments. The errands. The work. The family. The never-ending list of things that need your attention.
But you deserve care, too.
Give yourself one hour to step away from the noise, release the tension, and let someone take care of you for a change.
And honestly? Ninety minutes is even better. 💜
Your body has been asking you to slow down. Consider this your sign.
Book your massage, energy session or both with Awen Rising Healing Arts today.

You made it through the week. Now it’s time to exhale. ✨
Release what felt heavy. Choose peace over pressure. Let yourself slow down without guilt—rest is not something you have to earn.
And if your body is asking for a little extra care, I’m here. 🤎

Reiki is often dismissed as “just woo”—but the conversation is more nuanced than that.
Science has not established the proposed energy field behind Reiki, and research does not show that Reiki cures illness or replaces medical treatment. What researchers are beginning to examine is something far more practical:
Do people feel better after receiving Reiki?
Across several studies, participants have reported meaningful changes in areas such as:
✨ Pain and physical comfort
✨ Anxiety and stress
✨ Fatigue
✨ Emotional well-being
✨ Overall quality of life
The research is still developing, and larger, higher-quality studies are needed. But the findings suggest that Reiki may have value as a complementary practice—one that supports rest, comfort, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of well-being alongside appropriate medical care.
You don’t have to understand exactly why something feels supportive to become curious about experiencing it for yourself.
If you’ve wondered what Reiki might feel like, I would be honored to hold that space for you.

August arrives with an invitation, not a demand. 🌿✨
A chance to return to yourself.
To create instead of consume.
To speak your truth with confidence.
To clear away what no longer serves you.
To choose yourself—again and again.
May this month bring clarity where there’s been confusion, passion where there’s been hesitation, and the quiet courage to step fully into the person you’re becoming.
What are you calling in for August? 🌙💛

Funny how we therapists are always reminding everyone else to take care of themselves… and sometimes we need the reminder too.
You can’t pour from an empty cup.
Today I’m practicing what I preach. Breakfast with a friend, one client this afternoon, a massage for me (yes, massage therapists need massages too! 😉), and then home to catch up on all the things that make a house feel like home.
A full cup doesn’t have to mean a vacation or a spa weekend. Sometimes it’s good conversation, receiving the care you give so freely, and a quiet afternoon at home.
Here’s your Tuesday reminder to take care of you, too. 💜

Can I ask you something?
When was the last time you took an hour just for yourself?
Not to run errands.
Not to catch up on laundry.
Not because someone else needed you.
Just…for you.
I hear it all the time:
“I’ll book after vacation.”
“When work settles down.”
“Once the kids go back to school.”
But our bodies don’t usually wait for the perfect time. They whisper first… tight shoulders, tension headaches, aching hips, restless sleep. If we keep ignoring the whispers, they eventually start shouting.
If your body has been asking for a reset, I’d love to help.
Whether you need focused therapeutic work, deep relaxation, or just a quiet hour where someone else takes care of you, every session is customized to what you need that day.
I have a few appointments available this week.
