Hey guys, just a quick update on what’s going on with me. I appreciate all the prayers, definitely keep them coming because I need all I can get. I also appreciate the love and support that I have had since I announced that I was diagnosed with cancer. I will tell you all, I have a really long, tough fight ahead of me. The odds aren’t in my favor at the moment. I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer, it is in my gall bladder fossa (where my gall bladder used to sit), liver and bile duct. Luckily, I’m in with the best of the best at John’s Hopkins. I am going to fight like hell, as well as chemo I am doing holistic interventions. To my clients, I am doing the best I can to continue to work but not knowing how I am going to feel with chemo starting next week, my schedule is unclear. I would love to keep all of you on my books but I also understand that you may not be able to always wait on me. I will still work as I can because I need to work as I have bills like everyone else so your patience means the world to me. I am still me, I want and need the love, support and prayers to keep coming my way. Pray hard please, I definitely need it. I never imagined I would ever be faced with something like this, it’s devastating, I’m anxious, I’m depressed and I’m in pain, but I am doing the best I can. I have the best support system in the entire world behind me making sure that I get through every obstacle and making sure that I am getting the best care I can get. Love you all🩷

Thank you for reaching out. I don’t want anyone to think that I am ignoring the questions about Luxe and Mane. All of us stylists will be transferring to another salon. We will be keeping all appointments as already scheduled. I had my liver biopsy today and am quite a bit of pain this evening. I will be in touch with all of my clients soon. All appointments until Sept 1st will remain at Luxe and Mane. I appreciate your patience at this time.

To all my loyal clients,
Some of you may know, I have been experiencing some abdominal discomfort that has been off and on but just recently seemed to be a bit worse. Having issues in the past with an abdominal hernia and with my abdominal pain getting worse I felt it necessary to go to the Emergency Dept. today to get checked out. The news I received was not at all what I expected, I was told that I have Liver Cancer. Because all of you are a huge part of my life I wanted to share this with you. I have a wonderful supportive family and some who are medical professionals and they are already on getting me the best care I can get with the best doctors in the field. With that said, I am asking for your understanding and patience during this time. I want to continue to work and I will do everything I can to keep appointments on schedule, but there is some uncertainty right now until we know more after my biopsy which is my next step. As things progress along there may be appointments that I have to reschedule. If you don’t hear from me then your appointment is still on schedule, I will reach out to anyone who has an appointment that I have to reschedule. I am keeping my spirits up and I’m going to tackle this cancer full force. I am asking for all the prayers I can get, the more people praying for me the better chance I’ll have of fighting this. I will be sure to keep everyone updated on this journey.
