Olivia’s (Dos) World! She lets me choose what we do as long as it isn’t plain, boring, normal. The only thing she ask was to leave as much length and make the shape more round than square. When I was done styling, she said: Why does it look longer?!! 🤌🏻🤌🏻 Simple shape change and she gets all the things she wants. I rarely get to see her smile but when she smiles and gives me a hug before she leaves. I’ll take that as a WIN!!! 💓🖤

Scotty’s on Tuscarawas Ave in Dover. He was quick and efficient and the inside was clean!!! He was super polite and could have light conversation as he worked. I’ll be back!

Between clients I made a quick Walmart run. While I was getting my coconut milk, I looked up and felt eyes on me. 🤣🤣🤣 this made my morning.

Miss Iris was just DONE with her hair. Her mom ask what I thought of the ideas she had. She sent me picture after picture, answered all my questions about how she might feel if she hated it, how she intended to style it and what she would do if she didn’t like it in a few days. All answered lead to this cut… Iris told me today she was feeling purple but after her haircut she was feeling pink.
Purple= good Pink= really happy.

How many of you actually wear your bonnet to sleep?
Since most of you know that I hilite my hair pretty light. I wash my hair more frequently because, you know the gym sweat 🥵.
I know I have told you that wearing a bonnet is the best for your hair, even if you don’t color/lighten. It saves your hair from getting caught in the fibers of your pillow (in turn you get breakage), it keeps your hair off of your face and keeps your hair from getting super frizzy.
I’m at the age that I’ve learned some things and am not vain about a lot. I don’t have much hair and I want to keep what I have. Laugh if you want, it is actually comfortable.

My clients have all been talking about a newer movie The Crash. I’m finally sitting down to watch it. I’m half way through and my mind is boggled. My opinions are wild and all over the place.

With all the chairs available to sit in, the floor was it for Miss S. To be fair, she is usually here for 2 hours at a time and sometimes during nap time. She is so sweet and does her own thing while mom gets her hair done.

I just watched a reel on fb and the guy said. Have you ever heard the phrase: How you do anything is how you do everything. Then went on to say that he will watch someone fold towels in the salon and it will tell him EVERYTHING he needs to know about the stylist. If you see my towels in my cupboard or the way I stack my foils for hilites. Iykyk.
He isn’t wrong, I’ve seen some other stylist fold towels and put color and foils in their clients hair 🫣. It couldn’t be me. And it shows at my house too!!
