Bakeman Barbers, the longest-running barbershop in Dowagiac, was established in 1992 as the Bears Den. Patrick and Ravan Bakeman purchased it in 2005, renaming it Bakeman Barbers, "The King of Cuts." Since then, it has expanded from a single-chair operation to a four-chair shop, offering traditional family barbershop services.
