The past 3 years working in a suite have been some of the best years of my life. I have learned SO much & have become the stylist I have always dreamed of becoming, but sometimes good things fall apart for better things to come together. ✨✨

Starting in May, you will be able to find your two favorite Opal & Blush girls operating inside of Sotelo Beauty Space right down the street in beautiful Downers Grove.

Victoria and I are so excited to join a collective of talented stylist to elevate our careers as well as elevate the guest experience. We want to thank every guest who has ever came to visit us or support us, as we cannot wait for you to come get your hair done at the new salon!

Let’s talk purple shampoo.

All of us blondes love it, but did you know that you could be over using it?

As much as purple shampoo is amazing, it is not an every day shampoo. I always recommend using it every 3-4th wash.

Why?
Over using purple shampoo will dull out your blonde which will minimize your shine as well as leave a film on your hair which is harder for lightener to lift through when you come for your maintenance appointment. ✨✨

Some of my favorite purple shampoos that help aid in hydrating your blonde are Goldie Locks Briliant blonde, Kevin Murphy Blonde Angel, and Moroccan oil Blonde Perfecting. ✨✨
