A lot of lash artists try to copy the client’s inspo picture exactly - but the client often doesn’t even know what she actually likes about that photo.

Is it the spikes?
The darkness?
The curl?
The clean top line?
The lifted outer corner?
And if we don’t ask, we’re just guessing.

🚀Solution:

Before you copy the map, understand the client first.
3 things that help:

Ask what she likes about the photo.
Not just “Do you want this set?”
Ask: “What do you like most here — the spikes, the fullness, the curl, or how dark it looks?”

Pay attention to her style and energy.
Her makeup, clothes, profession, body language, how soft or bold she wants to look - it all tells you a lot.

Don’t copy the picture. Translate it.
Take the vibe she likes, then adjust the length, curl, thickness and mapping to her eye shape and natural lashes.

🏆 Result:
You’ll understand your client’s expectations much faster, avoid confusion, and create a set that feels like her - not just a copy of someone else’s lashes.
