For over a decade, I’ve had the honor of serving the veterans at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs hospital in Durham since 2013. What many people don’t see is that my work has also extended into the psych ward — serving veterans battling not only physical challenges, but mental and emotional ones as well. 🇺🇸✂️

Some days, a haircut is more than a haircut.
It’s dignity.
It’s human connection.
It’s confidence being restored.
It’s someone finally feeling seen again.

To continue walking these same halls over 10 years later through 7CUTZABOVENC, LLC is something I’ll never take for granted. These veterans have poured into our country, and being able to pour back into them through compassion and service is part of my purpose.

This mission has always been bigger than hair. ❤️

Today was nothing short of powerful 💈✨

I had the opportunity to visit Fuller Elementary and connect with some incredible parents—and let me tell you, the love, openness, and support in that room was felt deeply. 🙏🏾

Being able to share what 7CUTZABOVENC, LLC stands for and how we serve children with special needs wasn’t just a presentation… it was a connection. It was understanding. It was purpose in motion.

To every parent I spoke with today—please know this:
Your child is seen. Your child is valued. And your child is always considered in what we do.

7 Cuts Above NC was built with YOUR children in mind—creating safe, sensory-friendly grooming experiences that restore confidence, comfort, and dignity.

Today reminded me why I started.
And today confirmed that we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.
