Day 4 of being postpartum 🥹🩵

Just took a 4-hour nap and honestly… I feel like a new woman. 😂🙌🏽

Thanks to Dad being home, I’ve actually been able to REST, recover, and focus on the baby. He’s been taking care of everything and everyone while I’ve been passed out, and I’m genuinely so grateful for him. 🥹❤️

My milk supply has officially kicked in and my b***s have DOUBLED in size.😭😂 My right ni**le is seriously cracked though, to the point where I’m unable to breastfeed on that side right now, so we’ve been pumping.

Which brings me to…

Medela USA , I could kiss you directly on the forehead for this miraculous ni**le cream.😂🙌🏽

And yes, what you see in this picture is basically my current postpartum survival kit:

Updates:
Baby boy has passed all of his screenings (hearing, jaundice, 24hr milestone, etc). He received his shots Vitamin K & Hep B. Now, wrapping up his hospital stay with his first bath and the car seat check. 🎉 I’ve scheduled follow up doc appointments for both baby and I as well. It’s been a super productive day! 🎉🥰

He’s arrived!!! 🥹🩵🎉🎉🎉
7lbs 13oz & 20in long our baby boy has made his grand entrance to our lil world 🥹🩵 What an intense birthing experience. We almost had an emergency c-section due to his heart rate dropping and scaring us all. 😩 apparently the umbilical cord was double wrapped around his neck when he came out.
He has latched on on the first try and is now sleeping peacefully 🎉✨ thank you to those that kept us in your prayers and thoughts. I love you guys! 🩵✨🎉 Mama B
