Anyway, it’s starting to feel like spring and I’m looking forward to more outdoor activities and spending time working on our yard ☀️ What have you guys been up to?

Hey! I’m Zoey, I’m a master colorist and owner/operator of Studio 13. I don’t post much of myself on here, so let me introduce myself:
I’m 26, and began my career 10 years ago (really!) with a high school technical ed program.
I foster kittens, and currently have kittens number 19 and 20 named lovingly Search and Destroy.
I love board games and video games, I love getting recommendations for new ones.
I like to spend my weekends out in the great outdoors. I go camping with friends, tag along while my honey plays disc golf, and during the winter I snowboard. (Mostly just fall down the mountain)
My honey is my most favorite person, (don’t get me started, I won’t stop talking about him) and we moved into our first home last March.

I’m coming up to a year of Studio 13. Yesterday was the anniversary of signing the lease on the studio space! Here’s a few things I’m glad to have learned along the way:
• I am capable and competent. Starting a business seems so big, yet I figured it out. I don’t have any business education, besides the limited amount that comes with cosmo school.
• If I don’t know, I can find out. There were many times during the process of opening and operating my own business that I had no idea what to do next, or how to get from point A to B. Turns out, if you ask, people will probably help you.
• People like authenticity. I’ve had incredibly more success in both my professional and personal life when I show up as 100% myself. This age of social media causes a lot of people to put on a mask for the world, and I’ve never been good at that. When I show that I’m a real person, I’ve found that other people do too.
