Hey friends, long time! I've been in the writing cave, working and releasing books and not doing much else! The best part of celebrating a book release is treating yourself to much-needed self-care. For The Bourbon Bargain, I booked a facial and massage at Massage Envy. If you’re local to the Austin area, I visited the Lakeline location and they were amazing, I 10/10 recommend. I left feeling like a million bucks after being tense and stressed, and my skin feeling parched from months of neglect. My esthetician treated me to a Jan Marini facial paying special attention to hydration, and I swear I was glowing the rest of the week.

I'm sure like many other, before I booked this appointment, I wasn’t aware Massage Envy offered skincare services, but they have a few fantastic skincare lines and amazing offerings you can choose from that blew me away. The best part was connecting with my Anatomy & Physiology buddy, Jordan, who manages the Lakeline location, and catching up! She let me know about their skincare event this Saturday, February 24th for anyone interested in getting more into skincare or who may want a free consultation to start your journey.

So much fun playing with at ! He finished off a wildly cool concentrated light shoot with this single light set for birthday girl .nina.colada and I'm loving it! The makeup was specifically designed to capture the striking highlight of the concentrated light set but ended up still looking fun in a brightly lit settinbng! Thanks to for the photo assisting!

I worked my first wedding in over a year today thanks to my dear friend , and it has me thinking about some of my favorite weddings over the last few years. is a gorgeous bride, a dotting momma to a six (!!) month old, and a super generous soul. Her lovely wedding at on the northern California coast will always have a special place in my heart, where it's bathed in eucalyptus trees, the salty sea air, misty fog, and the prettiest flowers.

I have loved working with all my brides, but a few just stick with me, years later. is one of them. Her irreverent humor, her super model good looks, the fun she has with her friends, her joie de vivre, it's all memorable in the best way. Her wedding day at was super beautiful, but also so much fun! Amazing photo by my friend who I miss so much!

One more for my late night trip down bridal memory lane, and it's a good one! .ellie is simply stunning 😍 I really love venue, it's tucked away near downtown Austin and feels like an entirely different area. Of course slays all day with her photo skills, but dang Ellie, you look good!

I'm excited to work a photo shoot with my creative bestie this week, which means I have to go through some of my favorite shots we've created together! This was the first time I worked with , and the start of a wonderful friendship (and many, many photo shoots!). Josh is a phenomenal photographer, but he's also a connector, and through him I have met and worked with so many wonderful people ❤️

I gravitate to anything glittery, and shoots with can definitely take that love of sparkle to the absolute max...by covering people in glitter, crystals, and jewels! And yes, my house ends up sparkling for months after these shoots 🤣

The very first shoot I worked with on was for his soaked series back in 2014. It was a freezing March day and we sprayed a couple of models with a garden hose and made it look like midnight at noon. This is from a later edition of the series with , another amazing model I met through Josh and love working with.
