Our license agreement with the city was approved again for 2020! We will be able to keep offering our vendors a one time license! The more markets we do together, the better the value!

My soaps and I will be at the St. Martin de Porres Fall Fest on October 27, from 10:00 till 4:00. Come by and say hello. Lots to do at this event, especially for the kids!

For those who have followed my business efforts over the last 22 (!) years, you know I agonize over the products. Making them aesthetically pleasing as well as good for the body and environmentally sound. So, packaging. Sigh. Over the years, my soaps have been wrapped in cloth (labor intensive) and then I went to plastic bags. N**e soaps were never really an option for me. One needs to protect them from handling and some folks would just not buy a soap that some one else's hands have been on. I am leaning at this point to changing to true cellophane bags. If true cellophane, they can be composted instead of being thrown into the trash. But they are more expensive. So, opinions of my customers are needed. Does it make a difference about the packaging? Would you go through the extra step to compost these bags?

Sadly, we are cancelling our market scheduled for Saturday. We have obsessively been watching the weather and waiting to see if it was going to change...you know who you are Texas! We apologize to our vendors and customers. See you next month for May the Fourth!
