📍Once a year, for several years, my fabulous client comes to me from Syracuse NY to get her hair done. Zero other reason!👏🏻🫶🏻
We did an intense blonding session and added 160 grams of custom colored hair to that blonde 😍

This was a transformation alright! The way she was allowed to leave a salon like this is 🤯. This was step one.
We were dealing with quite a bit of breakage, especially at the top and in the front, so I had to be very careful with those areas, even though they are an issue, the roots were not the main focus today. My main goal with this first appt was getting her as even as humanly possible so that in the future, I can let her natural grow out and be her dimension without messing with a shadow root (that I’m gonna have to lift out later) and we can get her healthier/less warm and lighter over time.

This transformation required 2 rows of thin weft extensions, mainly added for fullness and volume.. this client has extremely fine hair and did not want to add a ton of length - her only objective was to have big hair 🙌🏻
No color was needed here, I love when we can let the extensions do the blonding for us, especially for those of us who have compromised hair or who can’t have it super bright blonde.. We will let the extensions do it for us 👏🏻

What she wanted vs what she got
The only thing different was we were not changing her natural base to that near black, we kept her own natural brown and added the blue. Full traditional balayage followed with a custom mix of different shades of blue to achieve this stunning hue 💙🦋🌀🔷
