HOW IT STARTED…
I started my business back in 2018. Before I wasn’t as serious about it. I kept getting discouraged, I didn’t have faith, and life kept causing me to not put my all into it. I had to put it on the back burner.
HOW IT’S GOING…
Now!! Now it has changed for me. I began to work on my craft. I started studying the art of wig making more. From construction to styling. As you can see I have progressed. I set goals to provide my own hair and to get bags made. I even taught myself to make my own business cards! I know that if I keep going I’m only gonna get better than my better and greater than my greater. This time I can not be stopped!!

Sometimes as business owners, we get so caught up in what we love and servicing others that we forget to service ourselves. It’s perfectly ok to withdraw and restore yourself. What’s not ok is feeling burnt out and exhausted. You can not pour from an empty cup. YOU ARE YOUR HOME 😌 so take care of yourself 💕

Some days I wanna throw in the towel on my business, but it’s stuff like this that keeps me going. Including my family. I love seeing people enjoy my services and I love making my clients happy.❤️ I’m gifted to do this. This one’s for wig makers like me 🥰 this is my prep before I make a client’s unit….
CO WASH ✅
I always co wash the bundles and frontal/closures the night before to ensure that the hair is cleaned
COLOR ✅
If my clients request color, I color the frontal/closure the night before depending on where they want the color to be.
PROPER CLOSURE/FRONTAL PLACEMENT ✅
After I place the cap on the mannequin head (according to client’s head measurements) I make sure I use proper closure/frontal placement. This is important cause this can make or break your unit. If not placed correctly, you can end up with a hump at the top of your unit.
GUIDELINES ✅
I use guidelines to help me with track placement depending on how thick the client wants their unit. If my wefts are doubled I place them further apart (1”) if they are single I place them closer (1/2”)
