We always tell ourselves that the people we love will be around forever, until one day — they aren't anymore.

We will all miss Tabby beyond measure. It will feel like a visceral ache, deep within a part of us we did not know existed until the day we lost her. 💔

Looking at pictures of Tabby today, I was reminded that she lives on within all of us, not just in our hearts- but in the way we infuse our care and kindness into everything we do. In the way we take risks, knowing that tomorrow is not promised. In the way we so courageously stay open to new possibilities, even when we feel like you simply can't keep going. In the way we continue to love so fiercely and purely, despite knowing the terror and grief of loss. My hope is that everyone who loved and cherished Tabby remembers that even though we lost such a powerful presence, the life of every party, the best, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, dopest Mom, Aunt, and Friend, the love she shared lives on.

I took this picture on one of her birthdays. I did her brows that day she was so happy 😊. One thing I can say is she was one of my biggest supporters. Every time she was in the mall she always made a point to stop in the first thing I would hear is “Nelly Bell” Where’s Nelly….. she was always proud to let it be known who she was to me 💙 I am definitely going to miss that 💙
