In addition to loving travel, part of the role is staying educated, connected, and curious — so I can match clients with the right experiences, not just the obvious ones. 🌍💫

Last week I attended an AmaWaterways training with a fellow travel advisor, and one of my biggest takeaways was this:

Travel Tuesday: Room reveal from my stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago ✨

This weekend while I was in Chicago, I was happily upgraded to a King Corner Suite…..such a beautiful mix of classic elegance, comfort, and city-lake views. The suite felt spacious and serene, the service was excellent, and the little luxury details made the stay feel extra special 🤍

Next up: my experience in the Ritz Club Lounge, which was truly the highlight of the weekend 🥂

What does the #1 destination spa in the U.S. look like? 🌿✨

According to Travel + Leisure’s 2026 World’s Best Awards, it’s Mii Amo, tucked into the spectacular red rocks of Boynton Canyon at Enchantment Resort.

I had the chance to visit Enchantment, and the setting alone is reason to put this one on your wellness-travel wish list. ❤️🏜️

Think breathtaking canyon views, a gorgeous pool, peaceful cabanas, miles of red-rock trails and quiet spaces designed for simply slowing down. Add Mii Amo’s wellness experiences to the mix and this is the kind of place where the destination itself feels restorative. 🧘‍♀️💦✨

I was absolutely blown away by the hydrotherapy spa at Secrets Moxché. 💦✨

The journey began with the soothing heat of the dry sauna and steam room, followed by an invigorating cold plunge. 🧖🏽‍♀️🧊 Then it was outside to one of the most beautiful hydrotherapy pools I’ve ever seen—surrounded by tropical greenery, natural stone and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. 🌿

Every section of the pool offered a different experience:

🫧 Foot hydro-massage
💦 Powerful jets for the back
🌊 A submerged massage lounger
✨ Shoulder and neck massage fountains
♨️ Blissfully warm hot tub

And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I relaxed on a gently heated tiled lounger with cool cucumber slices over my eyes while receiving a soothing mini head massage- the perfect finishing touch! 🥒😌

The experience was amazing, but I was equally impressed by the beauty and tranquility of the entire setting. This wasn’t simply time at the spa. It was a full sensory wellness experience…and absolute perfection.🤍

Travel Tuesday at the Valentín Imperial Riviera Maya 🌴✨

During my recent trip to Playa del Carmen for a luxury travel certification event, I had the opportunity to experience a resort site visit—and we toured three incredible properties in total! 🏝️

The Valentín was my personal favorite. 🤍 It had the perfect balance of a beautiful beachfront, inviting pools, excellent service and beautifully appointed rooms. I especially loved its romantic, old-world hacienda style and the lush, meticulously manicured grounds. 🌿✨

And that Dunas beachfront suite—with its beachfront and ocean views + private plunge pool—absolutely stole my heart! 🌊💦

Site visits are such a valuable part of being a travel advisor because they allow me to experience the rooms, atmosphere and service firsthand—and help my clients choose the resort that truly fits them.
