Event Happening: Gender-Affirming Closet in
Dubuque - June 2023- 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️✨🌙

We are teaming up with Ritual Beauty, Rogue Wax Room, and the Dubuque Glamazons to bring a gender-affirming clothing drive to our community throughout the month of pride (and potentially longer depending on demand).

Clothing drop off location:
Ritual Beauty. 441 Bluff St. Dubuque, IA. A bin will be provided on the porch steps if drop off occurs outside of business hours. Items can be dropped beginning May 9th. Weather permitting, bin will be located outside or if business is open can be dropped inside 🥰

Hello gang! 🙌🏻 Long important post ahead!

My schedule is open again 🎉 with minor tweaks and adjustments! Please take a moment to read down below!

The holiday scramble is finally over and the sun ☀️ is staying out just a little bit longer! As we transition into the new year it comes time yet again that we touch base and tweak some protocols and pricing to help keep business and everyone's schedule running smoothly!

We’ll start with the elephant in the room named inflation 😣

We have all been experiencing the prices of everything rising exponentially, from gas to groceries and, Unfortunately, hair products/color/gloves. These products have nearly doubled in the last few years. So with that being said, we have to do another price adjustment to be able to continue providing you with quality work and keep the lights on!

📋🧾Many of you are already aware that I've switched over to an hourly pricing system for everything excluding haircuts,waxes and basic color touch ups. I will continue to be $85 an hour on colors (blow dry/style/wash time is not included in the price) I feel as though the hourly system helps keeps everyone clear and consistent on what the price is going to be and there won’t be any surprises upon check out

I’ve introduced some clients to the wonders of K18 which will be charged separately from the hourly price at $30 per treatment. K18 deserves its own post because I am blown away about just how amazing it is. 🪄

Next thing on the update, New scheduling procedure!

🚨 effective February 1st I’m revamping the scheduling process! With that we will be asking all clients to have a credit card on file for color project deposits and to stick to the cancellation policy. Deposits are $75. That deposit locks in your appointment and will be taken off of the total of your service upon check out. Your credit card information will be going into your personal file that will be locked up and secure and WILL NOT be used without communication to you first.

👋🏻 ALL CLIENTS will text/call the business phone line for scheduling, this includes rebooks.
The business phone number is 563-538-1551. This is where My assistant Cassie will get you in the books asap and gather additional information to add to your profile.
It’s very difficult for me to manage my own schedule. I always mess it up. The amount of messages I get ends up being overwhelming and then people are not able to get in in a timely manner or I stretch myself too thin. This also helps because if only one person is working the schedule we are less likely to offer dates that the other has already offered to someone else.

🧑🏻‍🎤 I’m accepting new clients again 🎉 for color projects only! Of course if my color clients need haircuts that will be included in the appointments. I just don't have a lot of room for stand alone haircuts in my schedule currently. Have a cool idea? Send them over! I can’t wait for us to get more creative this year! I want to use new techniques and grow as an artist!

✅ Thursday’s are no longer available to book. I need to keep one day a week available to work on Business things as well as quick reschedule days for sick clients . I have a lot of big exciting ideas for 2023 and I needed to set aside the time to execute them! I can’t wait until you see what I have in mind!
