✨ONE YEAR OF TORIE AT BECK ✨

This one has a whole lot of history behind it. 🤍

Torie and Jess have worked alongside each other for years and years, so when Jess decided to take the leap and open a salon of her own, Torie knew she wanted to be part of it. Just days before Beck officially opened its doors, she made the jump and joined Jess again—this time helping build something brand new from the beginning.

And what a year it’s been.

Over the last year, Torie has grown right alongside Beck. She’s built her clientele, pushed herself behind the chair, grown in confidence, and created a business she can truly call her own.

Which makes this next part feel pretty damn full-circle.

Almost exactly one year after taking a chance and joining Jess at Beck, Torie is taking another leap—this time completely for herself. This week, she officially becomes an independent sole proprietor and transitions into chair rental at Beck. 🥹👏🏼

From working alongside Jess all those years ago, to choosing to follow her into this crazy little dream, to now building a dream of her own within it—getting to watch Torie’s journey come full-circle is pretty freaking special.

Tor, we are SO proud of you, how much you’ve grown, and everything you’ve built this past year.

Salon culture isn’t just the scheduled photo shoots, pretty hair, or aesthetic space.

It’s what happens when no one is taking the picture.

It’s sweeping someone else’s hair because they’re running behind. Mixing their toner. Jumping in without being asked.

It’s the break room pep talks, minimizing a crash-out 😂, building someone back up when they’re doubting themselves, and celebrating the wins—big and small.

And sometimes it has absolutely nothing to do with hair.

It’s being there when someone’s personal life feels heavy. Listening to the spiral. Knowing who needs advice, who needs a hug, and who probably just needs five minutes and a snack. 😂

Some of us have known each other for years. Some didn’t know each other before Beck. Different ages, different experience levels, different personalities—and somehow, it just works.

Our seasoned stylists pour into the younger generation, while our younger stylists turn around and teach us new techniques, trends, and ways of looking at this industry.

Coworkers became friends. Friends became a salon family.

We learn from each other, step in for each other, celebrate each other, and genuinely want to see each other win.

That’s salon culture.

And this one? I’m really freaking proud of. 🤍

This one feels extra special. Jade was one of our very first commission hires, joining us fresh out of Capri and starting her training before Beck even officially opened its doors October 1. 🤍

Over the last year, we’ve watched her grow in confidence, build her clientele, crush goals, and truly come into her own behind the chair.

But beyond the stylist she’s becoming, Jade is quite literally our salon sweetheart. 🥹 The kindest soul, the sweetest energy, and someone we all absolutely adore having as part of our Beck family.

From brand-new Capri grad to celebrating her first full year at Beck — we are SO damn proud of you, Jade. And the best part? She’s just getting started. 🥂✨

✨ OFFICIALLY IBE CERTIFIED ✨

We’re SO excited to officially introduce JayLyn as our newest Invisible Bead Extensions® Certified Stylist at Beck | The Collective! 🖤

JayLyn has been putting in the work behind the scenes — learning alongside Jess, completing her models, practicing, perfecting the little details, and really diving into the art of extensions — and she officially did the damn thing. 👏🏼

She now joins Courtney & Jess as an IBE Certified Stylist at Beck, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue growing our extension team and bringing even more education and expertise behind our chairs.

And a HUGE shoutout to JayLyn’s IBE mentor Brittnee Burgess Palmer for guiding her through the certification process, giving feedback, encouraging her growth, and helping her cross that finish line. Having great education is one thing, but having someone in your corner throughout the process makes all the difference. 🫶🏼
