Eight months ago, Beck | The Collective was just an idea.

Today, every chair is full.

On June 1st, we officially hit the 8-month mark, and honestly? It’s hard to believe that in just four short months we’ll be celebrating our first anniversary.

When I envisioned Beck | The Collective, I didn’t just want to create another salon. I wanted to create a space where experienced stylists, independent business owners, and growing artists could thrive together under one roof. A place that felt collaborative instead of competitive.

Today, that vision is alive and well.

We have 12 chairs upstairs and 12 incredible stylists filling them every day. Add myself into the mix, and that’s 13 women showing up, supporting one another, building businesses, chasing goals, and creating beautiful hair.

What makes Beck unique is that we’re still a true hybrid salon. Half of our team operates as commissioned stylists, learning, growing, and being mentored. The other half are independent renters, running successful businesses of their own while sharing knowledge, encouragement, and experience with the next generation.

It’s a model I believe in deeply.

The dream has always been to create opportunities. To provide a path for growth. To build a culture where everyone wins.

And right now?

The salon is full.

The team is happy.

The energy is good.

The systems are working.

The coffee is always brewing. (Huge shout out to our downstairs neighbors )

And somehow, this beautiful chaos runs like a well-oiled machine.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together in just eight months.

Okay, yes… she’s technically been here since May. But she’s settled in, she’s making clients feel right at home, and it’s officially time for her proper Beck The Collective introduction.

With 15 years of experience behind the chair, Katherine specializes in customized color and timeless hair that feels personal to each client. Whether you’re looking for a subtle refresh, a complete transformation, or just a really great men’s haircut, she’s your girl.

What you’ll love most about Katherine isn’t just her talent—it’s the way she makes people feel. Her goal is for every guest to leave feeling seen, heard, loved, and confident. Think of her chair as a warm, professional hug. 🤍
