✨ Summer is officially doing its thing at 83°.
✨ The sunsets have been showing off lately.
✨ And somehow… I turn 40 next week. (But let’s all agree we’re calling it 29.)

A lot is changing. A lot is growing. And for the first time in a long time, I’m not rushing through it. I’m soaking it in—the chaos, the excitement, the milestones, the big dreams becoming reality.

June 1st means one thing around here… it’s officially time to summer-proof your strands. ☀️🌊

Long days at the pool, lake weekends, vacations, sunscreen, sweat, and hard water can all take a toll on your hair—especially if you wear extensions.

A few of my summer must-haves:

✨ Davines SU Line – designed to protect and nourish hair exposed to sun, saltwater, and chlorine. Think of it as skincare for your hair during the summer months.

✨ Mineral Sunscreen – not only better for your skin, but many mineral formulas are less likely to stain or discolor blonde hair and extensions than traditional chemical sunscreens.

✨ Filtered Shower Heads – hard water, chlorine, and minerals can wreak havoc on color and extensions. A quality filter (I love the Jolie shower head) can make a huge difference in keeping your hair softer, shinier, and healthier.

✨ Heat Protection is Non-Negotiable – summer doesn’t mean skipping protection from hot tools. I recommend Davines This Is A Primer for lightweight hydration, detangling, and heat protection, or MELU Hair Shield if you’re regularly blow drying and heat styling.

✨ Deep Conditioning Treatments – summer hair needs extra hydration. My go-to favorites are the Davines SU Hair Mask and OI Hair Butter for restoring moisture, softness, and shine after days spent in the sun.

✨ Protective Styling – loose braids, low buns, and hats can help minimize tangles, UV exposure, and unnecessary wear on your extensions.

🧠 ADHD, but thriving. My brain is equal parts creative ideas, organized chaos, and “hold on, I have one more thing…”

👑 Boy mom to Hawken, my favorite adventure buddy and the reason my camera roll is 90% baseball, monster trucks, and random sound effects.

🐾 Dog mom to Baloo, Penny, and Leonard. They run the house. I just pay the mortgage. (Just kidding Ben does)

🌿 Hummingbirds have become my newest obsession. Their return each spring brings me an unreasonable amount of joy.

💫 I’m passionate about luxury extensions, healthy hair, scalp science, and helping women feel confident in their own skin.

🏡 Currently building our forever home, so if you’re in my chair there’s a good chance we’ll talk house plans, finishes, or why I’ve changed my mind on something 14 times.
