Good morning! With 72 bars of soap curing and needing to be wrapped, bath bombs to be made, and a supply order on the way, the 63 Moose Lane crew will be busy until our next show Saturday, June 13 at Barnum High School for Spring Fever Days! See us between 9-3 for your favorite bath, body, and home cleaning products along with other local craft vendors, a classic car show, and food trucks!

Thank you to those of you we've met up with the past few weeks at Cotton, Denfeld, or in person as we've delivered orders in the Twin Ports area! This week the 63 Moose Lane crew has been in a soapy mood, having made another 72 bars of soap that will be cured in time for our next show, the Spring Fever Days Craft Fair & Car Show at Barnum High School on Saturday, June 13! Among them are popular favorites such as Orange Patchouli, County Clare, a newly reformulated version of Summer of 63, and a couple of new scents that we will introduce at Barnum! We hope to see you there!

The 63 Moose Lane crew is set up in the Duluth Denfeld High School gym until 5:00 today with your favorite bath, body, and home cleaning products!

Happy Earth Day!! Since 2019, the 63 Moose Lane crew has been using soap nuts for our own laundry...and even to clean the table cloths that you see on our tables at our shows! Maybe the most common question we get is "What are soap nuts?"

Soap nuts are an environmentally friendly laundry solution to replace your laundry detergent! They are a dried berry that contain saponin; when the saponin gets wet, it produces suds. The suds then clean your clothes! Five of the little berries, pictured on the right, contain enough saponin to do 12 loads of laundry! Our soap nuts come in a reusable glass jar - zero waste - with the jar containing 30 berries. At five berries at a time, that's 72 loads of laundry in a little jar! So a small glass jar replaces any of the big plastic containers in the picture on the left, and it takes up a lot less space doing so.

When the berries are used, the leftovers are compostable and biodegradable. We include a small muslin pouch to put the berries in or, if you wish, you can use an old sock - anything to keep the berries together. You just toss the packet with the five berries into the wash. They will work in any washer, including high efficiency washers.

Another advantage...the berries just leave clothes smelling clean. There's no harsh, artificial scent!

Our environmentally friendly, reusable packaging, compostable soap nut package of 72 loads is only $15. Add one of our stain sticks to go along with it and the soap nut-stain stick bundle is just $19. The stain sticks take out grease, barbecue sauce, blood, even pet stains from carpet and furniture! Just wet the garment, rub the stain stick in, and put it in the wash! Particularly tough stains may need a second run...but these stain sticks really work!

The 63 Moose Lane crew has done several shows at Old School Lives in Cotton since 2022...to the point where it's also about getting together to see customers from past shows, the great organizers at Old School Lives, and our fellow vendors - some of whom we've known for a long time! Here's Jody (on the right), our marketing specialist, with Brianne Johnson, who was filling in for her mom this weekend selling wall hangings and knick-knacks! Jody, Leslie, and Bri all used to work together at United Healthcare 20 years ago! Bri now teaches science at the middle school in Proctor. It was fun seeing Bri again this weekend as well as hearing from quite a few previous customers telling us how they've been using our products!

Next up...this Saturday, April 25, you'll find 63 Moose Lane at Denfeld High School from 9:00 - 5:00 as they support the Class of 2026 All Night Graduation Party! Approximately 40 vendors are signed up, plus the Mystery Mobile food truck will be there!
