Who had this on their 2026 bingo card? We trying the best we can out here folks. Homemade is where it’s at. Fresh hepa filters on the wet/dry vac and the Corsi-Rosenthal box with Merv 8 commercial filters because that’s all they had at Menards. I’m having weird Covid flashbacks.

Make Sure to Use the Washcloth Before Your Float Session

To prepare your body for the sensory-neutral environment of the float tank, please use the washcloth along with body wash during your pre-float shower. This step is especially important if you are sweaty, dirty, or have used deodorant, antiperspirant, or any other scented products.

While the water in the float pod is thoroughly filtered and treated between sessions, it is still essential to cleanse your entire body thoroughly before entering.

Don’t Forget Your Feet!
It can be pretty gross for me to scrub dirty footprints off the bottom of the pod, so please take care of your feet too!

A thorough shower from head to toe beforehand will enhance your float session and also be considerate for the next person floating after you. Remember, the aim is to maintain a sensory-neutral environment for EVERYONE, so being squeaky clean before your session is vital.
