Happy Wednesday to all! I just feel like I have not posted in a while and still want to keep those of you who are following thisupdated. Donell has been back to work just very Little trying to do what she can and trying to get her strength back up. So for those of you who are trying to get in, please call and leave her a message on her machine she’ll be more than happy to help out with that. Also know if she’s not able to get you in, we will be more than happy to get you in another time to help Donell out and also you out. She was supposed to have a big doctors appointment yesterday and that was canceled due to the strike. She will not go back to the doctor for a follow up until August 11. Please keep her in your prayers as not only her health has been a struggle, but she has lost her dog, Ellie Last week. She needed to put her down due to a tumor they had found that was cancer. If anybody knows Donell, you know that her dogs are her entire life so she’s really been struggling with that also along with her health. I will keep you posted as I can And still keep praying for strength and health. We can’t thank you enough..

I have not forgot about you all that’s for sure! A little update on Donell. I had the opportunity to work next to this girl for two whole hours this week like she was in person at the spa! Best feeling that I’ve had in such a long time. I can’t tell you how good it felt to have her standing next to me again, even if it was only for two hours. I can reassure you all she still knows how to do hair that’s amazing. Lots of good laughs we had. We also have a good oxygen update with her. She was at the doctor this week and she is holding a 98% with oxygen. What a great feeling still using a little bit at night time but I will take that. She also has a big appointment coming up in July that will determine what’s going on with the kidneys because we need them to get working a little bit better. They were only at 27% the last time they were checked so they have been working with medicine and different things to get that back in order. She is taking appointments for the third week in July if you needing to get in call the spa and we will get you booked. Also remember if you can’t wait that long come and see one of the other girls we will be more than glad to take care of you. Again, I always have to say I am beyond overwhelmed with her GoFundMe page, but when I listen to the hospital bills that are coming in, I want to keep this page going as she is going to need it and then the uncertainty of not knowing how many days she can work I can’t thank you all enough for helping and contributing to this journey. It’s been a tough one, but I think I’m seeing light at the end of the tunnel and it’s the best feeling ever. Feel free to get your comments on here so she can see and lift her spirits. Just wanting to give you an update on Donell‘s visit to the doctor on Friday. She is absolutely coming back to feeling like herself. I think she has a long way to go to get everything under control mostly being medicine. She has a doctors appointment the second week in July and doctors do not want her to come back till after July 15Th….. as we all know this is very hard for her not to be at work and somebody controlling what she’s gonna do.(haha) the biggest thing right now is to get her kidneys working in full capacity. She has had a lot of medicine changes to try to get things working more normal. Kidneys at this point are only at about a 30%. So we need this number to go up but more importantly, we need her to get healthy. she looks absolutely amazing to me. She has her sense of humor back and believe it or not she’s ready to tell jokes. She just wants to get back to normal and get back to work and take care of her clientele. We hope in the meantime, you call us and get booked with somebody in house we will be more than happy to take you and I will keep you posted on here and hope you all have a wonderful week. Please continue to share her GoFundMe page as I said medical bills are coming in and we want to continue to help as much as we can. The ongoing support has been very overwhelming and we cannot thank you enough and coming from Donell, She is so so grateful for each and everyone of you and thank you from the bottom of her heart for helping her out this very difficult time. Just wanting to wish everybody a happy Friday! Also just wanna do my update on Donell! Let’s all say extra prayers for her today as she goes back to the doctor to get her kidneys checked and her heart checked. We are hoping that the current medicine she is on is keeping these things under control. She is in very good spirits and she is back to cooking so we know she’s definitely feeling a little bit better. Also trust me she’s got her spunkiness back so this is definitely a good sign. We are still shooting for her to be back the third week in June After she has another big doctors appointment that week in June. I will continue to keep you all posted as I know things. Please make sure we continue to share her GoFundMe page as her medical bills are now coming in and she’s got some anxiety about that but things will work out. I cannot thank you all for the support you’ve given her. It has been overwhelming. Thank you for being part of our Mirror Images family and thank you for helping her at this horrible time in her life. Have a great weekend.

Happy Thursday to everybody! Just wanting to leave you another update on Donell. I’m not sure how many of you know but she did end up back in the hospital last week and she was released again on Sunday. She was having some complications with her kidneys and we are hoping That it was due to her meds. She had a follow up doctors appointment yesterday to have blood work done to make sure everything is on track. We are saying lots of prayers to hope we get the good results back. Donell is so overwhelmed right now with everybody’s generosity. As you know, she does not know how to accept anything back from anybody. So everybody cooking, dropping off cards, putting money in the GoFundMe fund and also dropping cash off at the salon has been such a wonderful thing. I am so overwhelmed myself with the love we all have for her And how I listen to everybody with their comments and as I cut her clients and do their hair it is overwhelming for me so I can’t imagine how Donell feels. All I can say is I’m a very lucky girl to have her on my team and have her by my side every day.. I don’t have a date as to when she will be back as of yet, but we are hoping soon very little steps. Again, if there’s anything anybody wants to get to her reach out to me, I’ll be more than happy to meet you or drop it at the salon. Whatever you’d like to do. I make sure Donell gets it each day. We only hope to go up from here and we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and we wanna keep it that way. Update on my dear Nell ❤️

Where do I start….. it has been a very long road for her but as we all know, she is a fighter and we will continue to fight with her. Donell ended up in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. Then she was released and almost a week later, she was put back in this week. Looks like we are finally seeing some daylight. She’s going to get back out of the hospital again tomorrow and we are going to try this again! Just needed to adjust some medicine to get her feeling better but she looks amazing and she is a fighter. We shared lots of tears some laughs and I reminded her how important she is to every single one of us. Including all the phone calls at the spa also all the text messages to her and everybody else reaching out with many things. Please remember feel free to drop anything you want off if you want to get it to her I will make sure that is done daily. remember to keep sharing her GoFundMe page please and also I thank you all for your contributions. Most of all we don’t care about our hair right now we do care about her health. That is our number one as you all have proven that. I am so proud to be her friend and we have had a long journey of almost 30 years together and she’s been by my side and I will continue to fight right along with her and keep her strong as I can. Feel free to call the spa anytime you want to leave a message to get an update and I will also try to keep you all updated here. Remember again, Donell wants to keep you all in house if possible we hope she returns to work soon, but as I told her today it’s gonna be slow moving. She thinks she’s jumping right back in at
