While we still have a lot to learn, it reminds us that healthy skin starts with more than what we put on our face.

☀️ 2. The best treatment for hyperpigmentation is prevention.
New research reinforces something I talk about often: controlling inflammation before and after a treatment is one of the best ways to reduce the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. A healthy barrier, thoughtful treatment selection, and daily sun protection matter just as much as brightening ingredients.

🌿 3. “Microbiome-friendly” doesn’t automatically mean better.
