Essential Oil Spotlight on: BALSAM FIR

Balsam Fir is a refreshing, clean and light smelling essential oil that makes you think of Winter holiday festivities and sitting in front of a cozy fire looking at your beautifully lit tree. A bit more inviting than its fir cousins, the unique chemistry of Balsam Fir makes it wonderful for soothing both physically and emotionally.

It is incredibly beneficial to the skin and supportive of the respiratory tract as well as the endocrine system, particularly the thyroid. It also supports bones, joints and muscles, has antioxidant properties, and aids in concentration and combating negative emotions for an uplifting and stabilizing feeling.

Historically, Native Americans used balsam fir for many ritual and wellness purposes. It transforms any environment into a clean, welcoming sanctuary.

Balsam Fir oil can create a tranquil, positive space and enhance a soothing massage. It can be used aromatically and topically. Here is how to use it:

💧Massage into skin for soothing comfort.
💧Inhale deeply and experience the refreshing aroma.
💧Creates a tranquil, positive space
💧Diffuse for a relaxing aroma

🐾 Diffuse 2-4 drops in a water based diffuser with the room door open or in an open space for small animals, dogs and cats. Dilute to 1-2% for topical use to soothe muscles & joints. You can also add a few drops into your litter box deodorizer (per 1 cup baking soda, and only sprinkle a little bit on your cats litterboxes.)
🐎Apply 4-6 drops topically for horses or cattle or make your own DIY Liniment!
🐐Apply 2-3 drops topically for goats or other small ruminants
