Mark and Melissa originally met while working at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon salon in Atlanta, GA. Mark specialized in haircuts, and Melissa specialized in hair color. For years, they worked side by side at the Vidal Sassoon salon, where they formed a mutual respect and admiration for each other’s work. To further develop their skills and their careers, they each branched out to try new opportunities. They kept in touch during each of their moves, and discussed the pros and cons of their new salon environments. Over time, they realized that their similar professional goals, and complimentary skill sets, would make an ideal salon partnership. Today, their collaborative efforts are offered at Salon Ten80.

Donating your hair is a huge contribution and it will help children suffering from hair loss return the to a sense of self, confidence and normalcy. At Salon Ten80, Melissa Powers and I feel that anyone who donates their hair should leave with a fabulous new look that gives off a vibe of positivity, strength and confidence. This will certainly cause a ripple effect and possibly motivate and inspire other people to contribute to something greater than themselves.
