My cousin used Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic and was shocked by the hold. How do we think cuz’s curls held up in this DC heat?

I sometimes feel afraid to post social and political stuff on my business account for fear of alienating customers but fawk it!! This is important!! Also how can I ask larger corporations to use their platform if I don’t use my own. As a woman of reproductive age - it’s scary to think we live in a country that sees women as incubators rather than humans. If you’re interested in channeling your anger I’ve tagged some great organizations that are doing important work and if you have a story to tell or just want to leave a comment this is a judgment free space affirming space.

Ok so I have this theory (with no real evidence because I don’t know these people) that Beyonce did a huge service to Blu’s hair when she was a baby by letting it alone and allowing it to just do its thing and flourish. Black girl hair especially when we’re young is frequently pulled in multiple directions, put in hair ties beads, bows, knockers etc. All very beautiful styles AND lets also normalize Black hair care minimalism. Go Blu!
