As this day comes to a close, we pause to remember the lives lost, honor the courage of the first responders, and hold close the families and communities forever changed by September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Your skin (and your calendar) want a September reset 09/07/2026

Hi there,

Labor Day just wrapped, and if you're anything like me, that's the moment the year actually feels like it's starting. New routines. New energy. That "let's get things handled" mindset kicking back in.

Your skin is having its own version of that shift right now — it's coming off months of heat, humidity, and sun exposure, and it's about to meet cooler, drier air. That in-between window is short, and it's the best time all year to get ahead of it before fall really sets in.

If it's been a minute since your last facial, this is your sign. One session now means you walk into October with skin that's calm, balanced, and doing its job — instead of playing catch-up once the holidays hit.

"This lady is amazing. She takes such good care of you and makes you feel so comfortable! I got my first facial with her and let me tell you I feel amazing! She does my wax too and I always come out feeling good and fresh! Try her out."
— Cloe E.

And if you're due for your next wax — don't let it slide. Staying consistent through the seasonal shift is what keeps regrowth fine and appointments comfortable. Grab your spot before the calendar fills in.

Summer is officially here, and if you’re anything like me, it feels like it arrived overnight.

The vacations, family gatherings, weddings, pool days, and summer photos are already filling up the calendar. If you’ve been thinking about your skin lately—whether that’s smoother skin, fewer breakouts, more hydration, or finally getting back on a waxing schedule—this is your gentle reminder not to wait until the last minute.

At Bold Beauty, I believe confidence starts with healthy skin.

That’s why every treatment is personalized to your skin goals, whether you’re looking to:
✨ Stay smooth with waxing and proper aftercare
✨ Restore hydration and glow
✨ Improve congestion, redness, or uneven texture
✨ Maintain healthy, radiant skin all summer long

The truth is, great skin doesn’t happen overnight. It happens through consistency, professional guidance, and a plan that works for your lifestyle.

If you’re not sure what service is right for you, send me a message. Tell me what’s been bothering you about your skin, and I’ll help point you in the right direction.

I used to think sunscreen had to feel thick, greasy, or heavy to actually work… and honestly, that’s why so many people avoid wearing it consistently.

One thing I talk about with clients all the time is this:
The best SPF is the one you’ll realistically wear every day AND reapply.

Lately I’ve been loving Daily Defense SPF 33 because it feels more like skincare than traditional sunscreen. It’s lightweight, hydrating, and still gives strong mineral protection with 17% zinc oxide.

Especially heading into summer, I see so many people:
☀️ over-exfoliating
☀️ skipping SPF reapplication
☀️ using products too heavy for the season
☀️ trying to “fix” their skin too aggressively

Usually the answer isn’t doing more.
It’s supporting your skin consistently and making small adjustments that fit the season your skin is in.

When I was in Puerto Rico recently, I literally set timers on my phone to remind myself to reapply sunscreen because prevention is always easier than correction later. 😅

If your skin has been feeling more oily, dehydrated, sensitive, or unpredictable lately, I’d love to help you simplify your routine and build a plan that actually works for YOUR skin and lifestyle. 💛

Happy Memorial Day ❤️🤍💙

Today, we pause to remember and honor those who served and sacrificed for our country.

As many of us spend time with family, enjoy the sunshine, or simply slow down for the day, here’s your friendly esthetician reminder:
☀️ Wear your SPF
☀️ Reapply throughout the day
☀️ Stay hydrated
☀️ Be extra mindful with freshly waxed or exfoliated skin in the sun

Take care of yourself and your skin today and every day 💛

Summer skincare reminder ☀️

Your skin changes with the seasons, and this is usually when I start seeing:
• congestion
• dehydration
• irritation from over-exfoliating
• inconsistent SPF use

A simple, supportive routine will always outperform an aggressive one.

Think:
✔ hydration
✔ SPF
✔ gentle exfoliation
✔ barrier repair

If your skin has been feeling “off” lately, it may just need seasonal adjustments, not a full overhaul.

Self-care goes beyond skincare.

As an esthetician, I often remind my clients that healthy skin is supported by healthy habits — movement, hydration, sleep, and stress management.

Got my workout in today and I’m feeling grateful for another day of life and a body strong enough to move.

My workout partner Kelly and I have been working out at the Orangetheory Fitness Durham Southpoint since it opened in 2019, and today we learned the studio will be closing after this week.

Moments like this remind us that wellness is a lifelong journey, and sometimes change simply opens the door to new opportunities.

Keep showing up for yourself. Your body — and your skin — will thank you.

When one of my favorite skincare brands invited me to help in their booth at the Be+Well Beauty & Wellness Show in NYC… my answer was an easy Heck yes.

I love and products, but what I love even more are the people behind the brand. Spending the day doing hand demos, talking skincare, and connecting with these amazing educators was such a gift.

And truth be told… it was also the perfect excuse to sneak in time with my daughter and family while I was in the city. ❤️

NYC + skincare + great humans = the best weekend.

A big thank you to for hosting such an incredible show in NYC. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn, and spend time with such passionate professionals in our industry.
