Watercolor greeting cards are a fun way to create and play with art in smaller and special way.

My grandmother was a weaver, and I wish I had known her better and had a chance to learn more on large looms. I have been playing with a small loom to create some wall art. :)

"Wish Lions in Red" original artwork is 8 x 10. I had fun with turning it into an AI metgala gown. (Although knowing what I do about Ai I will not be using it anymore as I don't believe in using green space, clean water, or cutting trees for technology is EVER ok).

My latest creation. "Little Owl" she is a 98% upcycled little textile art creation/creature. I have been expressing myself in textile art this spring.

"Mushrooms" watercolor mushroom series on 5x7" watercolor paper.

"Mothers of the World" watercolor. The original watercolor is 5x7". My son fell in love with this photo when he saw it and it became the first painting that I had blown up into a 16 x 20 and framed. My son has the original and a print. And there is only one other print made. :)

The mothers of the world are crying for their children to be safe. To be fed. To have shelter. To live in peace without war.

Little girls upcycled dress. I used a size 2 skirt and turned it into a cute little dress for my Maddie.

A new perspective. Study and learning.

The oldest known whole rocks on Earth, found in Canada, date back around 4.3 billion years – a length of time that’s impossible to comprehend. For comparison, the first humans emerged around two million years ago in Africa. A mere blink of an eye in the lifetime of our planet’s most ancient stones.

The stones are wisdom keepers, powerful teachers, healers, and guardians. They preserve, hold, and tell our stories. Infused with the wisdom of the cycles, our ancient stones show us the grace and gift of surrender. In their presence we’re invited to take a different perspective, to shift into humble unknowingness as we wonder, how many people like us have they seen come and go? How many civilizations have they stood witness to?

The Wisdom Keeper card holds ancient knowledge and stories. Many of us have been severed from our ancestral wisdom teachings, but what if it’s possible to reconnect with this wisdom through stones that hold the memories? This card invites us to reconnect with some form of study and learning. It may be in the traditional sense, or it could be something more mystical and direct.
