Project Happy Hair

Last year, stylist Robin Vitale began offering free haircuts and styling for guest families who are residing at the Ronald McDonald House in Durham.

Each time Robin visits, she rolls in a suitcase of supplies and we set out a chair, with a plastic table cloth underneath, in an office space to create a makeshift salon. Families come streaming in and are transformed under Robin’s hands. We Are Back!!!!!It has been a long 3 years since my last visit here❤️There was some much needed TLC,and some items that needed to be replaced in the salon.First and most importantly the universal styling chair. A very necessary thank you to❤️ Mindy Bunt❤️ for donating her chair to us!Now we can truly give residents a full service salon experience(at least the shampoo and conditioning part of it) Thank you all who have contributed and supported Project Happy Hair💕

Our hearts are filled with love!! What a special morning pampering families at the Ronald McDonald House of Durham at our Spring Beauty Brunch!! We had an endless stream of guests coming through the doors, able to take a few minutes away from their stresses and enjoy hair cuts, facial waxing, manicures, hand massages, brunch goodies, and more! We could not have done this without the amazing support you guys give! Thank you!
