Working in all hair textures, my skills go beyond hair &include henna/jagua body-art, face-paint, tinsel hair, &braids! Art Loc price listing breaks down like this:
☆Regular non embelished custom made Art Locs in any style, colors, with or without glitter is priced by length
●$8 per Art Loc 19 inches and under
●$10 per Art Loc 20-29 inches
●$12 per ArtLoc 30-39 inches
●$14 per ArtLoc 40-49 inches...etc
☆Embellished Art Loc pricing looks like this:
●Artisinal Custom Made Yarn wrapping is an additional $12 per ArtLoc
●Beads and Bells, are an added $3 each to the original Art Loc
●Simple Felting of the Art Loc body (spirals, dots, cheetah print...) are an additional $30
●Simple shapes such as heart, diamond... are an additional $45
●Previously done simple shapes with details (peacock feather, fire, rain drop...) are an additional $60
●More intricate challenging shapes with detail (butterfly, flaming heart, owl, or something completely different...) need to be a conversation with me so that I can work out the intricacies of your wish

It was time for an update to his dread wrap! After years of having one in, we carefully cut the old one out and then replaced it with a new one! I love helping people decorate their locs so that their spirit shines for all to see!
Hi:) I'm Ella from ArtLocs. I've been making my woolies for people for almost 20 years! ArtLocs aren't extensions, they are a filler locs that sit next to your natural dreadlock- what this means is that you can have bright wool pops of natural color in your locs without needing to do anything to change your locs! Pretty cool you! My clients have worn their ArtLocs for Years! And with healthy care of your natural locs, ArtLocs can be worn for years more! I love the dramatic transformation. The 'wow' factor. But I'm most excited to hear how the 'after' ripples into the life of the person when they leave my shop and go back into their world. The world right now is crazy, there is anger everywhere we turn. But there is also sweet kindness. So, when my clients tell me about the strangers that have come up to them and told them how pretty they think their hair is, or when they ask if they can get a photo to show someone else because they know a person who would LOVE that look, or when a family member who didn't think they'd like it now looks at them and says 'I was wrong, it's actually really pretty and looks perfect on you!'. Those are the little stories that just fill me up:) so, to all of the strangers out there who take a chance and share their admiration, thank you, and to all my clients who pass that admiration back to me, thank you even more! I love what I do, and I'm so grateful you all let me play in your hair:)
Style up time!
So, I've been forced to accept an AI assistant into my ArtLoc world. I've been calling this Ai the Faux Ella or the ArtLoc ghost. It feels really weird having this 'entity' talking to my clients and I've worked to make sure that it is very transparent to them that they are not actually talking to me. But I feel like this Ai creature needs a name.
So, I made us a cartoon to help introduce this new 'member' of the ArtLoc family to us- but I need help giving her a name... ideas?
