Now introducing our new salon associate Kayla!

Kayla is from Durham, NC and graduated cosmetology school in 2019 at the Aveda Institute of Chapel Hill. Her favorite service to perform behind the chair is Balayage but she can also create an AMAZING blowout! When Kayla isn't behind the chair she enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling and trying out new activities.

Kayla will be working side by side with her educators Ashley R and Giselle. She cannot wait to meet you all!

As a business owner during this controversial time making decisions has been necessary but not always easy. We always have our guests and staff’s health and safety at the forefront of our decisions. Beginning march 8th we have decided to maintain masks for all staff and to still encourage guests to wear masks while in the Salon Company but it will not longer be required to do so. We do ask that if you are exhibiting any symptoms whatsoever that you reschedule your appointment and we will do our best to get you back on the schedule in a timely manner. We truly appreciate your patience through all of this and we hope this is a great step forward to normalcy again!

2021 has been an amazing year thanks to all of my amazing clients!

I wanted to fill you all in on a few important updates as we head into the new year!

My schedule will be changing as of 1/1/2022.
⠀⠀⠀
I will be working Tuesday and Wednesday 9-2:30 at the southpoint crossings location, Thursday 9-2:30, Friday 9-6 and Saturday 9-5 at the new hope commons location. If you currently have an appointment scheduled on Wednesday evenings in 2022, you have been contacted to reschedule and I will do my best to accommodate you.

Due to the rising cost of our professional supplies, Poppy salon has increased our prices of our services effective December 1st. And as you all know I have recently received a promotion to a level 6 stylist which also comes with a price increase effective December 1st. This will be a couple dollars per service and I will quote each of you before your service starts to make sure we’re on the same page. I would love for you all to take this promotion with me but if my prices do not fit your beauty budget I will be more than happy to refer you to another stylist in the salon.

My books are filling up quickly with my new schedule. My first Saturday availability for color is mid March. I have a waitlist that you can be added to if anything opens up the front desk will call based on client availability, who was added to the waitlist first and timing for the opening slot. If none of my waitlist takes the opening I will then post the availability on my social media. Please be sure to prebook your next 2-4 appointments before you leave the salon to insure you receive the time and date of your choice.

I know what I said, take a deep breath. For your blondes to POP you HAVE TO leave depth underneath. My client has the most beautiful natural brunette but loves to be a blonde. I strategically place 30-40 foils around her face and part line to give her the brightness she’s looking for while allowing her natural tone to do all of the hard work for me! This allows for a more natural grow out so I only see her every 2.5-3 months 😁
