Lars Oliver Salon
Full service hair salon
Dear valued clients of Lars Oliver Salon,
WE HAVE MISSED YOU!
As we finally approach Phase 2 of Gov. Coopers Re-opening plan, we are ready as I’m sure you are to get back to some kind of normal. While social distancing is not possible, we have adopted new protocols and practices to ensure a safe space for everybody. This is not a one sided approach. We will need you, our clients and friends, to participate in the effort. Here are the basics:
-Masks are required to be worn by stylists and clients alike at all times while in the salon. (Ear loop masks are preferred as we can work around them easier. If you do not have one we can sell you a reusable mask at cost)
-If you are experiencing a fever, cough or difficulty breathing stay home! Please call or text your stylist to reschedule your appointment. Stylists reserve the right to refuse service to anybody who is sick. Touchless temperature checks may occur.
-Occupancy will be limited in the salon to avoid crowding. To achieve this we ask that you do not bring anybody with you to your appointment. Upon arrival for your appointment please text your stylist or wait outside for us to welcome you in. We will be taking extra care to sanitize between visitors, so please wait to enter until we are ready for you.
-To reduce risk we ask that you not touch any retail items. If you have questions about any products your stylist will be happy to answer any questions. We also encourage you to use ApplePay and we will be going touch-less everywhere else we can. We will greet you verbally from now on, although we will miss our handshakes and hugs. It is essential to keep salon interaction to a minimum to minimize risk.
We Have a Lot of Catching Up To Do
Each of our stylists will be reaching out to you to reschedule any missed appointments. If you did not have an appointment scheduled but would like one you may reach out to your stylist to be put on the waiting list. For now, Online booking will stay turned off until we are caught up on rescheduling. We recommend prebooking your next appointment before leaving the salon.
I hope everybody is healthy and sees some light at the end of the tunnel. We will get on the other side of this eventually. On our way there, let’s watch out for each other and be smart about this to keep moving forward. We are looking forward to seeing you soon!

***COVID 19 UPDATE for RE-OPENING***
Governor Roy Cooper rolled out a 3 phase reopening plan for North Carolina. Hair salons are included in phase 2- if everything goes great with our infection numbers and they don’t have to extend phase 1, we’re looking at a tentative opening date late May and possibly early June.
We want to prepare everybody for the necessary changes this will entail. We’re working on a plan for how to achieve our new normal- I’ll be posting updates to keep everyone informed as we get closer to an opening date. Stay Safe! And stay tuned!
-From all of us at Lars Oliver Salon
