I DID IT — in the midst of my storm. These last few years tested me in ways I can’t even fully explain. I closed down my salon, lost my suite, and made sacrifices that hurt, but I kept going. There were days I felt overwhelmed, lost, and ready to give up, but God never took His hands off me. Even when I didn’t understand, He was carrying me through it all. This isn’t just a graduation, it’s my testimony — that even when life feels like it’s falling apart, you can still rise. The story they thought would break me is the same one God used to build me. 🏁

Life lately… 🤍

I’ve been going back and forth about even posting this, but I want to be real… not just when things look good, but also when they don’t.

Life lately has been heavy.

There have been days where I wake up and I’m crying… and I don’t even fully know why. Days where I feel overwhelmed, burnt out, and honestly just… not okay. And the craziest part is, I’ve still had to get up, get dressed, and show up.

There have been moments where I’ve had to wipe my tears, take a deep breath, and go right into a service. Smiling, pushing through, trying to give my clients the experience they deserve… while silently battling what I’m feeling inside.

This isn’t a cry for help.
This is just me being transparent.

Some of you may not understand… and truthfully, some days I don’t even understand it myself. But I am human. I’m not just a business, I’m not just a service provider — I’m a person with real emotions, real struggles, and yes… I deal with depression too.

There are days I feel lost.
There are days I feel alone.
There are days where everything just feels like too much.

But in the middle of all of that… my clients have shown up for me in ways I didn’t even expect. The patience, the grace, the understanding, the kind words — it has not gone unnoticed.

To my clients who have been gentle with me, who didn’t question me, who gave me time, who simply showed love… I honestly don’t even know what to say. Thank you doesn’t feel like enough, but it’s all I have.

You all have seen me in ways most people haven’t, and you’ve still chosen to support me.

I’m taking things one day at a time right now. Trying to get my mind right, my space right, and just find my way back to myself. Not rushing it, not forcing it — just allowing myself to feel, heal, and regroup.

If I’ve been a little distant, a little slower, or not as present… this is why.

I’m still here.
I’m still trying.
And I’m going to come out of this stronger.

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of doing my NEW BESTIE Jaeda makeup for her homecoming. From the moment she sat in my chair, I could feel how special this experience was meant to be. Her testimony touched my heart in a way I didn’t expect, and it reminded me just how powerful human connection can be.
In that moment, it wasn’t just about makeup — it was about presence, encouragement, and sharing a space filled with grace. Even in the middle of my own storms, God continues to place people in my life who remind me of purpose, faith, and gratitude. I truly believe we needed each other in that moment.
I’m so thankful that God continues to use my hands, my heart, and my business as a ministry. Experiences like this are the reason I do what I do.

I can’t thank God enough for keeping His hands on me this year — keeping me healthy, grounded, and full of gratitude. I get to spend another birthday surrounded by my family, friends, and my beautiful clients… and honestly, that’s the greatest gift I could ever receive.

This year has broken me down and tested my faith in ways I never expected, but I’m still here — standing, growing, and ready to share my testimony. Thank you all for the endless love and support 🩷
