The Root Cause NP
I help with women overcome PCOS using diet and lifestyle as medicine
If you’ve been told that PCOS means you can't get pregnant … that's not the full story.
PCOS is the most common cause of ovulation-related infertility — but “harder” does not mean impossible 💛
About 75% of infertility in women with PCOS is related to irregular ovulation. Many women with PCOS go on to conceive naturally or with support!
Here’s what can affect your fertility with PCOS:
✨ Irregular or absent ovulation
If you’re not releasing an egg regularly, timing pregnancy becomes harder.
✨ Hormone imbalances
Higher testosterone and insulin levels can interfere with healthy egg development and ovulation.
✨ Weight
Being overweight can worsen ovulation challenges, but even lean women with PCOS can experience fertility struggles.
✨ Egg quality
Some research suggests PCOS may influence how eggs develop and mature.
The encouraging part? These things are not necessarily fixed.
There are evidence-based ways to improve fertility in PCOS — from targeted lifestyle changes and improving metabolic health to medications and fertility treatment when appropriate.
This is exactly what we help women do inside our clinician-led program.
We identify the root causes contributing to your symptoms, create a personalized plan, and help you improve the things that influence ovulation, hormones, and fertility — without leaving you to figure it out alone.
Your body is not broken. Your diagnosis is not your destiny 🤍

PMOS can feel really overwhelming. EVERY WOMAN WITH PMOS KNOWS THIS.
Before meeting, Anna had only ever been offered medication to help with her symptoms. No one had ever discussed with her the driver of her condition or what she could do about it.
She had a strong gut instinct that there was a root cause for her PMOS and she wanted to get to the bottom of it.
She was frustrated by all the conflicting information online and was weary of recommendations from people that were not actually grounded in science or evidence.
When we met, Anna was determined to get her cycle back so she could get pregnant naturally when she was ready.
She was also determined to get her energy up and lose the weight that was weighing on her health and her confidence.
Before Ana had even completed the program, she had lost 12 pounds and restored her natural cycle. Energy was back like it never left.
The root cause is a clinician designed and operated program. If you’re ready to reshape your body and your health naturally, send us a DM and I will send you a mini video describing how the program works.
At 25, I struggled with crushing acne, anxiety, and fatigue.
While training to become a nurse practitioner, I asked my P*P to run labs because of my family history of diabetes. My A1c came back in the prediabetic range.
I was shocked.
I ate well, cooked most of my meals, and was a dedicated runner. Yet the advice I received felt generic: watch your diet and exercise more.
No one ever looked for PCOS.
Years later, I realized it had been part of my story all along.
Even after my diagnosis, no one explained insulin resistance, why it happens, or what I could do about it.
That’s one reason I began sharing my journey on Instagram. What started as a way to document what I was learning became a platform to connect with thousands of women who believed healing through lifestyle was possible.
As both a patient and a provider, I saw how often care focused on managing symptoms rather than addressing root causes.
The more I learned about PCOS, the more I recognized the gaps in both patient care and provider education.
What amazes me most is that my 24-year-old self could never have imagined where this journey would lead.
I left the nurse practitioner job I worked so hard to earn, started my own practice, and now help women with PCOS move toward remission.
What began as a search for answers about my own health became my life’s work.
Today, I get to help women find the answers I spent years searching for myself, and for that I am endlessly grateful.
Thank you to every client who has trusted me and to everyone following along on this journey.
The Root Cause was created to help women identify what’s driving their PCOS symptoms, use evidence-based lifestyle medicine to move toward remission, and receive unparalleled support, the guidance so many of us never received that would change our whole life trajectory.
If you’d like to learn more and get on the waitlist, send me a message and I’ll send over a mini video explaining how it works 💛

“Everything looks normal” doesn’t mean everything IS normal.
Your labs might not be wrong but they are very likely incomplete.
