Beauty with Mama Goose

Did my nails for the first time in one month and two days (but who's counting?? 😝)!!
I absolutely LOVED doing my nails on my new makeup desk! It made it so much more enjoyable than doing them on the dinner table. lol
And this is still one of my favorite nail strips! for the win!! The color is pretty, and subtle, and the sparkle is just STUNNING! Once again, I can't stop looking at my nails. 😍
And as always, no dry time!! So I can play with the puppy, and make brownies as soon as I'm done applying the strips.

Well, I made it to day 12 with my nail care journey! I was fully planning on giving myself a full manicure tomorrow, so that I could apply some new beautiful nail strips for Joe's Birthday on Wednesday. Until I woke up this morning, to not one, but TWO broken nails. 🤦🏼‍♀️😭 I seriously couldn't believe it. lol
I ended up chopping all of my nails off, so I can start over. I rounded all of them this time, so I'm very curious how they're going to look once they grow out. I'll post a picture tomorrow!

Day 11 of 12 of my nail care journey! I'm so glad I'll be applying nail strips in a couple of days, because I keep picking at my fingers. Such a dumb habit! lol
I love that my nails are getting longer though. I think they look pretty good! 😁

I'm officially one full week into my 12 day nail care journey, and my nails are looking great! I can not wait to give myself a manicure though, because I keep picking at my skin.
Only less than five days until I put some polish on these gals! I'm legitimately counting down the days. 🤣

Day six of my nail self-care is in the books! 🤩
As you can see, I've been picking at the skin around my thumb nail. It's been a struggle not picking more! That's one of the top reasons I love Color Street nail strips SO much. When I have them on my nails, I'm much less likely to pick at my fingers and nails, because I don't want to ruin the look.
I'm still using my Color Street cuticle oil every single day, and leaving it on for at least one hour. And my Nutranail formula every single night before bed.
I'll do a comparison picture tomorrow! But I can already see a significant amount of growth. 💚

Yesterday was day five of my 12 day nail care journey. I had to file the side of my right thumb, because it started to break. It's been doing that for a couple of years now. I think it's because it's so bumpy...? I'm not sure, but it looks good now!
There's been significant growth already. And it's taking all of my strength to not apply some nail strips. 🤣 But! I'm about half way to my goal, so I'll get there! 😁

ICYMI: I'm taking 12 days off of polish, to focus on strengthening and growing my nails. I'm using my Color Street cuticle oil daily, and my Nutranail 5 to 7 Day Growth formula nightly, and I've already got some good growth.
It's killing me not using any polish, lol, but I know it'll be worth it in the long run!

Sorry I've been MIA as far as my nail posts go! My brain has been acting mean to me the past week. BUT! I'm back at it again! Feeling better mentally, and doing my nails again.
I have decided to take a little nail polish break, for the first time in almost two years!! 🤯 I'm going to focus on nail growth, and strengthening for the next 12 days, and then get right back into the nail strips.
I'll be posting a picture once per day of the progress. How long do you think my nails will be in less than two weeks?? 🤔
