Why stop?
- When you’re exposed to UV rays, you’re actually exposed to two different kinds. UVA + UVB
UVA = “aging rays” that pe*****te deeper into the skin, damaging collagen and elastin, contributes heavily to wrinkles and sagging skin, the loss of firmness, and uneven skin pigmentation. It can also pe*****te through glass, which is why daily SPF is so important!
UVB = “burning rays” that primarily affects the outer layer of the skin. It’s responsible for sun burn, causing damage to our DNA and plays a major role in developing skin cancer!
When UV radiation reaches your skin, it can damage the DNA inside your skin cells. Your body has repair mechanisms, but repeated exposure means damage can accumulate! That damage can cause cells to grow abnormally and contribute to skin cancer. UV exposure can also suppress some of the skin’s immune defenses that help recognize abnormal cells.

Getting a Brazilian Wax can be intimidating for many reasons.. It’s an unfamiliar feeling, it’s extremely private, and usually your Waxer is a stranger. I get it!!
My biggest goal as a Waxer is to make everyone in my treatment room feel comfortable, welcome, accepted, and of course I want them to leave here feeling confident.
It’s totally normal to feel nervous, which is why I make sure my treatment room is a judgment-free space where any and all insecurities are welcome. I’ll thoroughly explain the service to you, answer any questions, and make your experience as comfortable as possible, and tailored to you. This includes Bikini Wax, Underarm Wax, Leg Wax, etc!
