Update on Lisa:

Lisa came through her surgery on August 8, but has since been in the hospital twice and is struggling with fevers and infection. This will be a long recovery. Please keep her in your prayers.

Let’s help our friend Lisa out! We covet your prayers as she heals. Surgery went well. She is uninsured and self employed. She has applied for sponsorship, and Medicaid but these things take time. Please consider donating to help her while she heals.

Lisa came through surgery well. The doctor said everything went well. We are praying pathology report comes back good. She was in a lot of pain but is now resting. Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she recovers.

This is one of the hardest post I’ve had to make. Lisa’s cancer has returned and she will be having surgery Friday. She will be having a Pelvic Exenteration. It is a six hour long surgery. We ask for your prayers as she goes through this and her recovery. You can mail her a card and let you know you are thinking of her at:

Lisa and I have been friends for over 30 years. She is like a sister to me. I plan on being with her every step through this journey. My mother-in-law has also moved in with me and my husband this year. She has vascular dementia that has gotten worse and requires more help and less time alone. With all this being said, David and I have decided to close the salon. I am thankful God gave me the opportunity to meet all the wonderful clients that have came through our doors over the last 9 1/2 years I have owned Hair Expressions. Some of which have become dear friends. I urge you to keep in touch with Lisa as she recovers. We hope she will be able to be behind a chair again soon. We will keep this page up for a while so we can let you know where our stylist go to work. Thank you all for your support over the years and please keep in touch with us. Good news from Lisa’s Pet scan!
They saw no cancer!!

Due to the forecast of snow and ice the salon will be closed today. Stay safe and warm and enjoy the snow ⛄️ ❄️

We are thankful that Lisa has completed her radiation treatments. She will go back to her doctor the first of December, and they will check her and come up with hopefully a surgery plan. Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Lisa has been in the hospital this week receiving internal radiation. She came home last night. She is having more radiation next week. She is such a strong lady but I know she is having a tough go of it, and could sure use your prayers at this time. Please be patient as we get through this tough time.

Due to the forecast of such bad weather tonight and tomorrow, for the safety of our stylists and clients, we will be closed tomorrow. Thank you for your understanding.

Lisa is home!!
She plans on being at work tomorrow. We are so glad she is feeling better! Please be patient as she reschedules those who missed their appointments. We want her to stay healthy as she is healing, and not be overworked.

Her platelets are coming up and she may be able to come home from the hospital today!! Thank you for your prayers and support!
