Our Story
We are a team of mother-daughter cosmetologists from the Dominican Republic with over 30 years of experience working with all textures of hair. Our initial vision was to create a private and exclusive space where we could invite friends and family and continue to share our passion for personal care.
As our circle of friends expanded more people started to try and enjoy our services. They were fascinated by the fact that we were willing to spend that little extra time with them genuinely caring for their hair and educating them on how to make it the best possible. We would share and implement tips and techniques learned from top level national and international hair designers as well as our experience with so many different textures over the years.
Our vision later turned into Flair, a private salon concept by referral and invitation only. Our guests are the friends of our friends. We keep a restricted availability in order to continue providing that which we are known for: extra time, attention, care and education with the goal to give you the best hair you’ve ever had!
At Flair, we are professionally trained and very experienced handling coarser hair textures. We love transforming hair that is normally unmanageable and unruly in a beautiful, healthy, smooth and shiny work of art.
