Community Wellbeing Wednesdays With the FLYY Movement!

This Wednesday 4.22.26 I’ll be joining the FLYY Crew from 6:30-8pm!

Pregnancy & postpartum change more than your body; your heart and cardiovascular system are recovering too.

Especially for women of color, heart health isn’t something to ignore.

Protect your heart with:
💃🏽 Daily movement (walking, dancing, stretching)

😴 Real rest (as much as mommy life allows)
🧘🏽‍♀️ Stress support
👩🏽‍⚕️ Know your numbers & go to follow-ups

S.I.S.T.E.R.S study is Currently looking for postpartum Black mothers for a FREE weight loss program.

I have personal participated in Dr. Blackman-Carr’s study lead by her and her students and I must say it was great journeying with women who look like and dealt with some of the same challenges. I won’t be able to be apart of this Cohort but know that I’ll be apart of the next.

If you’ve been following this page I’ve done a few lives with Dr. Blackman-Carr who is a melanated momma herself who does research specific to black women, nutrition, and the community ❤️.

Check out a few replays here on my page and I hope it inspires and motivates more of us to be apart of research and community 🙏🏾.
