Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful Gene Meisner, of East Haven, has worked as a stylist for 24 years. Gene graduated from Galmar School of Cosmetology in 1988.
He studied cutting, color and styling under such masters as Irving Rusk, The Altieri Brothers, and Jose Eber. He pursued technique and sharpened his skill set by attending hair shows in Boston, New York and Chicago. It is with great sadness that Gene and I have decided to close Gene Allen's Hair Studio. These past 3 years have been wonderful and we thank you all for your patronage, your loyalty, help, friendship & for welcoming Soren into our lives.
Gene will be moving to Hair's Talent located at 30 Main Street in East Haven (right next door to Twin Pines). Our last day at the salon will be August 29th and Gene will begin at Hair's Talent on September 1st. If you already have an appointment booked for September, there is no reason to change it, just go to Gene's new location, Hair's Talent at 30 Main St ( next door to Twin Pines).
We will still be accepting appointments online at geneallenshairstudio.com & by phone at 203-500-6433, we will send out another email with any changes as soon as we know them... Gene's cell number is 203-640-1949. We honestly can not thank you all enough! Many of you have become just like family to us and we truly hope to see you at Gene's new location.

Soften Skin
Immediately after stepping out of a shower, pool or lake/ocean, apply some sort of cream to skin. Water washes away the skin's natural oils and applying moisture cream will prevent skin chapping.
