⚡️A FRIENDLY REMINDER ABOUT LASER TATTOO REMOVAL AND SUN EXPOSURE⚡️

As we approach the hot summer months, it's important to note that in order to continue your treatments over summer, the tattooed area we're lasering (& at least 1/2" around it) must not have any recent exposure to the sun, tanning beds, or topical tanning products (spray tans, creams, oral, etc).

⚠️ Because laser technology produces a lot of heat which goes directly into the body, adding heat from the laser to the residual heat that the body is already holding into from exposure to natural or artificial sunlight is a toxic combination because it GREATLY INCREASES THE RISK OF SKIN BLISTERING &/OR SCARRING.

⚠️Many experts recommend waiting at least 4-6 weeks after significant UV exposure before moving forward with the laser removal process

⚠️ Band-Aids, non stick gauze, 50 spf or higher sunscreen are all things to help avoid sun and tanning exposure to the tattoo area.

LASTLY, please understand that if you arrive visibly tan for your laser appointment we won't be able to treat you and you will be asked to reschedule at least 4 weeks out.
