Rene S. Mahoney, Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant

I began my career with Mary Kay Cosmetics 33 years ago so I could purchase my own products at cost, which I found out is why many women join our company.
This website is for my Clients to find Skin Care & Beauty Tips, a Link to my ordering website & a place to see what is trending in the Cosmetic Marketplace 24/7 In my first 2 weeks in business, I earned more than I did in a month at my full-time job with Winkelman's as a Manager. I had just graduated from MSU in 1983 with a degree in Business and a minor in clothing & textiles. The first Success m
eeting I went to with my Recruiter so impressed me with the caliber of women I met there. The ideas they freely shared with each from their own successes and the positive attitude they had was something I had not experienced with the jobs I had held to that point. The key that sparked my beginnings was at that meeting. Recognition for your accomplishments is an important key for anyone to experience. At the end of the meeting they celebrated that week's sales by the consultants with a count-up to crown that meetings Queen. Pat Tucker, who had been a consultant for 3 or 4 years and built a client base, was the winner with over $500 in sales and this how she did it. She stayed at home because she was sick that week, ran a sale and offered 10% off if they came and picked up their order from her house. She lived in the country on a dirt road and only worked 4-5 hours. She earned $250 profit for 5 hours of work, never leaving her house. That was more than I earned working 50 hours a week as a Retail Store Manager with a college education. And so my career began, (*_*)
Over the years I have been honored to earned many awards on Mary Kay's National Courts for Sales and Team-Building, including diamond rings and company cars. The money and awards I have earned over the years have been wonderful, however, it's the intangible things that I hold closest to my heart. I developed a positive sense of self, learned so much about working with people, both through my sales and managing a unit of over 60 women. Most of all, the friends I have made over the years are the most positive women a girl could hope to have during her lifetime. I count many of them as my best friend, not just 1 or 2. Women are drawn to Mary Kay Cosmetics for different reasons. Needing extra money, new friends, tax deductions or maybe you're looking for a new career. Whatever the reason, if you'd like to know more about Mary Kay Cosmetics and how you can start your own business, I'd love the opportunity to show you what you could do as a Mary Kay Consultant. You may find our company may not be for you after you hear the facts, however, you may know someone who'd be good and I always appreciate the referrals.
