That’s a wrap in East Lansing.
It feels so bitter sweet being done at Salon 225 & saying goodbye to all of my clients over these last couple of months. What they don’t tell you about being a hairstylist is the attachment you feel in your people that you inherit in this career. Seeing my girls get married, announce pregnancies, announce divorce, or even come to me with a scary health diagnosis. Some times, we as stylists, are some of the first people to know these things & I never took that lightly. I’ve told my clients that it feels like a breakup over and over again 😓 I’m so grateful for my time at Salon 225 with my girls. Especially Heidi. I’ve worked with Heidi since graduating over 7 years ago and she has shaped me into the hairstylist that I am and that I will continue to grow into.
I wish all of clients and coworkers the very best 🤍

✨ A bittersweet announcement ✨

To my amazing clients — past, present, and everyone who has sat in my chair — some I have spoken to and some this comes as a surprise, my family and I are moving to northern Michigan, which means I will no longer be taking appointments here come Spring.

This decision wasn’t easy and sat heavy with our family for the last 6 months or so, but ultimately made the most sense for our family and the future for us.

You’ve trusted me with your hair, your stories, and your confidence. Some of you for well over 7 years. You all truly feel like family to me.

You’ve allowed me to grow not just as a stylist, but as a person — and I’m endlessly grateful.
