Let’s talk laser tattoo removal! I am often contacted by potential clients who have had their brows done previously. In order for me to achieve an ideal result, I need the old ink to be faded to the point it is barely visible. When the brows are still very saturated with old ink, there isn’t enough space in the skin to hold fresh ink. And without bare skin showing though, it is impossible to achieve the textured, realistic effect of nano brows.

I recommend laser removal for clients who are looking for a fresh start. It often takes more than one laser removal session to properly break up old ink and you should wait at least 6 weeks after a laser removal session before having your brows redone.

This lovely client underwent 3 laser removal sessions over the course of 5 months before coming to see me. You can still see a bit of the old ink remaining even after multiple removal sessions, but we were thrilled with her results! Her face appears lifted with a much softer, fuller-appearing brow.

Microblading could never 🙃🌚

Nano brows are done by tattoo machine unlike traditional microblading which is done using a hand tool blade. Creating these hair-like strokes with a tattoo machine allows me to create dimension and build density where appropriate. This results in a more realistic appearance and causes less trauma to the skin compared to traditional microblading.
