Pure Spirit Potions

How do you feel about waste? About throwing away packaging, bottles and wrappers? Personally I hate it. Which is something hard for me to settle as someone who makes cosmetics.
Cosmetics and their packaging are a huge burden on the planet. The carbon emissions from creation, shipping & then breaking down these goods is a contributor to climate change.
Which is why I am always looking for new formulas and ways to lower the waste. Reduce the carbon footprint; while still creating safe, powerful and earth loving skincare.
This is a water free-
Solid Body Wash Bar -🧼💦
No, it’s not soap. This is gently formulated body wash bar. Safe for us to use head to toes and safe for the environment to break down.
No water which weighs a lot
No bottle to throw away
Can be used lathered in hands or super bubbly with a body puff or wash cloth
We will be releasing a range of these in our Holiday Preorder along with solid Shampoo & Conditioner.
What do you think about changes like this to reduce waste?
Are you interested in trying one?..
What scent would you like to have in a body wash bar?

“You Don’t Have to Understand What Someone is Going Through...
To BE Understanding..
Of What Someone is Going Through”
This has been a teaching affirmation that I have chosen to teach to those who have a hard time understanding or accepting others life situations.
🔸This applies in so many life situations!!!🔸
Specifically for ME living with chronic illness. More specifically living with an incurable, invisible, genetic chronic illness.
Yes I get it. It’s hard to wrap your head around. All the odd symptoms & changes. Believe me it was harder for me.
I realize you think you mean well when you say “You’re too young to be so unwell” . .Yeah I think so too. . .
& I empathize with you because I know your words really mean..
”sh*t could that happen to me? To my loved ones?? NO they’re protected by “young” right?“ 😕
I get it’s hard to imagine & I’m not asking you to. I don’t want you to put yourself in my place. Really I don’t. Because it’s painful over here. So HEAR me. Listen to me. BELIEVE me. Because just maybe if you do you may learn something. Even if all you learn is a smidge of understanding, a pinch of empathy to others. In the end it’s for your benefit too.
We all want to be understood.
We all want to be heard..especially when it’s hard.
Be the person that people can feel safe being themselves with. Not because you fully understand them, but because you want to gift them understanding.
Have you ever felt misunderstood❔
How did you handle it❔
💜
Can you name a situation this statement could apply to for you❔
Or someone you love❔

🌱Aphrodite’s Secret🌱
Organic botanicals, house crafted extracts..beautifully blended to make a nourishing, smoothing, skin healing Daily Face Oil...
This daily face oil has changed the texture of my skin & allowed it to retain more hydration. As we age our skin changes. It’s ok! Aging & living with chronic illness, anxiety & daily stress does a double whammy on how your skin may look or feel. Again it’s ok. No one has filter perfect skin. Aging is beautiful! But your skin does need love & care. Let Aphrodite take care of you 💜
